Memoirs of a great person

He was my classmate from sec 1 to sec 2, first impression was like 'whoa this guy is so grown up! he speaks loudly too.' we weren't really close but i really do respect him and he really speaks out his mind. i still remembered he told me he got a gold in swimming coz we used to have swimming lessons in school.

Then he wanted to switch ccas, and wanted to join performing arts coz there's more points and all. he consulted many people, including me and woon, about choir and found out it's really the easiest to join. nevermind dat he has no music background, he was really hardworking and serious about making his voice sound good. he turns up EVERY practice, never late and all, and was mixing very well with the rest of us, he played basketball with the juniors, interacted with the other people, but he was usually a bit shy with girls he wasn't familiar with. we loved his jokes and cheerful personality.

I had more interaction with him in choir, and we stood in the same row in the concert. Denise stood beside him and almost had a crush on him coz he was always so nice, so helpful and gentlemanly. All the choir people remembered him for his helpfulness and good, kind-natured character and personality. Always willing to help in any case.

we had lesser interaction when we moved to JC, we were both in SAJC and often see each other but we were always bz doing our things. juz a simple hi-bye and occassional chat about stuff.

and recently i remembered seeing him when i was at BBDC, he took the same slot as me, so we exchanged a few words, asked him how's he.. and he's ord-ing faster than me. he complained about the instructor being chatty and stuff but in the end only passed him on one subject and he has not booked the final driving exam yet. that was the last thing we said, the last time we met and spoke. i never expected that to happen.

the news came to me as a shock. i was on my way to the library when woon told me about it. i really couldn't believe my ears and couldn't accept the fact. how can that ever happen? i couldn't focus the whole day and my mind was not adjusting to the fact.

and it was confirmed. i really couldn't take the fact, but still i must pass on the bad news. As one of his good friends in choir and i was partially responsible for him joining choir, i took on the responsibility to inform most of the choirmates. i called songhua to inform his batch, joyce was already passing the info and i called our batch. ALL of us couldn't take the fact. ALL. it was all a shock. many had exams the next day and i really can't bear to affect them. then i called ms ling, our former choir teacher who also remembered him as the plastic spects, chubby boy. she also couldn't take the news.

it was really bad. but i was glad most of them could make it on tuesday evening. Even ms tham, our super bz conductor came. and she also remembers him. saw so many familiar faces.. 2J-ers.. Saints.. teachers. choir people were a big lot. we stayed till 10, and met his mum. ms ling told her about me bringing the choir people over and she knew my name. and she remembered woon too. woon was his pri sch friend.

It was really hard to say goodbye. and it's really hard for his family. i really feel for his mum and brother. He was a great son and friend and he had really had a great future ahead. As his mum said to ms ling, he still had much to do in his life. it really pains me to see a friend go just like that.

This great person is Chee Wei Cheng, one of the 5 unfortunate personnel who passed away in the dragonboat tragedy.

As i stayed at home longer and longer.. i realise my mind's becoming younger and younger.

i'm becoming a kid!!!!!!!!

wkdays.. i wake up in the morning and first thing i do......

WATCH CARTOONS!!!!!! YAY!!!!!! i really love watching cartoons in the morning now... coz usually wkdays other channel has nothing to watch.... and i'm loving the cartoons they show!!!

Ben 10 is super nice!!!!! i love the cartoon. it's abt this boy hu got a watch from an alien pod which crash-landed on earth.. and it attached itself to him and using it he can turn himself into 10 different aliens with different types of powers!! soo cool. then he fights off all the other aliens which wans to snatch the watch too.

i even went to download the movie episode but i haven watch yet... and now cartoon networks has produced a live action movie of the show and i wanna watch!!! hahaXx.. ben 10 is really nice.

and there's spongebob too!!!!!! yay!!! althou the jokes r stupid but they'r really farnie! yay.

nothing beats breakfast... milk and coco pops!! hahaXx.. coz when u soak the coco pops in the milk for a while.. the pops becomes soft then i can easily eat them.. and the milk becomes choco milk!!! hahaXx very NICEE!!

lunch is porridge.. must cook very long until the porridge is like a very thick soup.. those type usually cooked for babies w/o teeth.. yeah. coz i can't really bite so i can onli like sip or chew a little bit.

then more anime at crunchyroll.. and the drowsy effect of the medication sets in and afternn nap for mi!!

since i was young i dun like to take afternn naps coz i think it's a waste of time sleeping ur afternn away while u can play whole day long.. hahXx. but now it's really like nothing to do (i dun play with toys anymore) and it's really drowsy.. so 1 hr afternn nap is sufficient.

at nite.. porridge again.. TV... medicine.. brush teeth and sleep.

it's really great to have this type of life once in a while.. rest at home.. be like a kid. hahaXx..

good thing for mi there's a second time coz i'm gonna pluck another 2 teeth next next week! i'm really addicted to staying at home and dun feel like going out.. or perhaps lazy to go out la.. staying home feels good now. i love staying at home!!

Imparting wisdom

TORTUROUS. REALLY TORTUROUS.

went to AH in the morning.. i was thinking... wah so exciting plucking tooth... BUT I WAS WRONG!!!

firstly the nurse helped mi take my blood pressure.. then inside the surgery room. wahh.. the pri sch trauma comes back... first the dentist applied some white bitter cream to numb my mouth... wah lao eh so bitter sia.. can't puke out also coz she say needs the effect...

then 3 BIG INJECTIONS!!!! ARGHHHHH

then after dat my left mouth began to feel numb.. the nurse came to cover my whole body.. juz leaving a hole at the mouth for the surgery. then................

MORE DRILLING
AND DRILLING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i almost died on the spot.

but the dentist was quite nice.. everytime she does things... she'll warn mi first.. like when she wans to poke she'll say there'll be some pressure arh...

when she wans to drill she'll say there'll be some drilling arh... there's some more drilling arh...

ok surgery finished.... not much pain so ok.. juz dat i keep drooling and saliva keep flooding my mouth.. so often must go toilet to drain my saliva.. hahaXx...

aftermath is also torturous...
tried to bite.... pain+bleeding
tried to talk... pain
tried to eat... pain+ bleeding..

in the end i can't eat anything.. i juz drank milk and water using a straw.. and occassional pain at the surgery site. and also dun dare to talk.

so sadddddddddd i watch all those KFC ad on tv i very saddddddd i can't eat... argh. the whole day onli drink water... and bot a lot of instant campbell soup to drink also.. haix so sad... so i made a date with pear to eat buffet after we recover. hahXx..

first day is the worst. today is the second day.. much better!!! at least i can chew a bit.. eat poridge and eat some bread to go with the soup... phew. really wish i'll recover more tml.. so the wkend i can go out and EAT ALL I WANT!!!!!!!!

outing with campmates

some outing with my campmates i forgot to mention...

dat day got the brigade cohesion so we went to GV PS to watch Rendition which was quite a bore but zai movie. zai as in the director was zai but the story was a bore. hmmm i wun wanna watch a second time la. anyway after dat went to eat at indulgz which we had said for so long... in the end was quite disappointed.. the food was OK but the pricing was quite high.

thennn the nxt day we went to sim lim to get wx's iriver clix... and walked around.. and zy wans to get earphones frm jaben so we took bus to cityhall but the earphones were out of stock.... ate at carl's jr at marina anddddd i bot dohnut factory at suntec... NOBODY ONE!! so if u really wanna eat dohnut factory go to the suntec outlet it's outside carrefour onli. no queue at all. after dat dessert at menotti. half priced after 10pm.

another day.... they actually wanted to go n c cars at expo.. but i'm not really interested and it's really far... but change of plans.. wanted to watch movie... okay.... so we went to lido to eat Tonkichi(yay my fav jap restaurant).. that was my second time there... it's famous for it's jap curry and deep fried stuff and free refill rice. b4 dat i was already yearning for some jap food esp. bento... and presto!! the chef's special was a bento with all the things i wanna eat!! and dessert was super nice coffee jelly with milk. super niceeeeee.

then went to cathay to check the timings but all were nearly sold out so movie was cancelled and in the end we went shopping. kl bot fresh imp tshirts. i wanna buy so many things from topman.

and i tell u i'm super saddddddddddddddddddddd

the shirt i wanted to get from topman is gone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it's a sales item and i really liked the shirt!!!!!!!!!! arghhhhhh i'm now in the valley of sadness. my salvation is the red checked shirt form topman. the stupid salesperson told mi the sale will end on 18 nov.. when i went there the whole trolley was gone.

i really wished they will put them back during the end of year xmas sale. or they have something similar to the shirt i wanted. i'm really regret not buying it earlier when i tried it... argh.... huiyu should noe which one i'm toking abt. i think. haiXxxxxxx... anyone noes where they put the clothes after the sale????

same old disturbing

juz the same old boring camp life... really boring...

and when i've nothing to do and bored, i'll tend to
1. eat a lot.
2. shop a lot.

and together i will
3. spend a lot.

occassional driving lessons and nxt wk plucking wisdom tooth... yay for 5 days of MC.

but there's still one habit i can't kick. whenever i see ah dog i can't stop disturbing him. and keep on disturbing until i'm tired of it. hahaXx. it's true everytime i see him i juz can't resist disturbing him. i really need to control myself and stop the habit.

if i nv disturb him he WILL COME N DISTURB MI!!! dat's when i lugi. so i must take revenge. aaargggghhhhh. it's a vicious cycle there's no start there's no end!!

it's, again, like spiderman having venom. the more u use, the more u like, the more u use, the more u like and u will get addicted. (haha very long nv had these kinda spidey topics.)

how to get rid of venom?
1. find the fantastic 4.
2. go to church and use ultrasound
3. pass it on to somebody else.

well. all are not feasible in my case so i shall read more spidey comics to find my cure.

it's like somebody broke the curse and the shopping monster inside me was suddenly unleased and i went on a shopping spree.

SALE SALE SALE AND MORE SALES!!!! everywhere is having sale now i really can't resist myself!!!

arghhh and the worse thing is, all my shopping advisors/consultants/partners are NOT AVAILABLE!!!!

anddddddd xmas is coming all the shops r having those xmas decor and starbucks is having the xmas drinks also... i tried the iced toffee nut latte... suuuuuper good!!! go and try it!

i'm ALMOST done with my xmas shopping already. hahaXx.. i bot 2 tshirts and 2 jeans/pants from the AX sale. argh. my mum's gona nag at mi again... "GOOO N BUY CLOTHES AGAINNNNNN UR CUPBOARD DUN HAF PLACE TO PUT ALREADY LEHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!"

But it's really worth it!!! yay. hahaXx

it's all the happenings on my bdae itself! and birth of all the famous ppl... and i scrolled through.. nobody was a famous engineer... all were famous musicians.. esp mozart... and many many actors.. composers.. singers... and some sports players.. a lot of artists and painters... all from the arts side!!

hm....... issit dat ppl born on this date are stronger in art? hm.. should i go towards arts nxt time?

and there's this irritating girl hu keeps msg-ing mi to add her on msn after she added mi on friendster.. argh.

and my greatest nightmare has came true. argh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
