Sorry this came a bit late,
but well, better late than never!

while i was feeling down from the PD trip, that day when i came back was weikiat's farewell!

The fun and laughter never stops in outings with dearies :)

back to Port Dickson

for those who didn't know..

On friday morning, i received a msg from my cousin in M'sia saying that my popo fell very ill, that got me worried for the whole afternoon, i couldn't concentrate much for the rest of the day, then my mum msg me that we are going back to Port Dickson that night.

The trip was postponed to the next morning coz my dad was tired at night. (fyi it's a 3.5hr ride).

Reached there early in the morning, went to see her in the hospital in the afternoon.

Such heart-breaking painful scene, too much for me to bear. my popo lying on the bed with 2 machines supporting her life. she can't even open her eyes. all of us were talking to her, asking her to wake up.

i was fighting back tears, i can't do it in front of everyone, some 30 relatives.
and definitely not in front of the young cousins, i was the eldest cousin of the group.
it's really hard being the eldest. appearing strong is not my forte.

The second time was the next day, we went to see her was only with my family coz we were heading home after that.
The same pain, but this time round she appeared much better, she opened her eyes when i called her and i could see her tears gathering, and so did mine.


well, glad to say that she's doing really well now, the machines were no longer needed, she could move and talk as per normal. :) and she called my mum and said she had no time, she is busy talking. haha. please recover and get even better! :)
so do believe in miracles.

body clock

last wkend was spent with dearies =)
(it'll be in another entry, right now I'm just waiting for the peek-tures to be up!)
and i have been sleeping at 4.30am and waking up at unearthly hours since then.

My body clock is seriously screwed up.
I need to sleep by my good'ol standard time so i can wake up for my 8.30 lectures!

School started for 1 month and 3 weeks for me, and I'm bombarded by quizzes and lab reports already.
It felt like i've spent 6 months in JC.

Well maybe it's the brains. After like what, 2 years 8 months?
Just imagine having to start-up a computer you haven't touched for nearly 2.5 years, you know the kind of feeling?

furthermore army had depleted much of my brain cells, or has it been converted to fat cells? =X

ok time to get back to studying. my roomie's pointing at the 'workbook before facebook' sticky.

i guess it is kind of true especially when you live in hectic and fast-pacing sunny singapore.

i thought my personality would settle down after i entered 20s but it is still ever-changing with all the variables around my life.

well, i guess that's me.
everchanging.
even i can't understand my own personality, i can't predict what i would be thinking a few days from now.

my decisions varies with my personality.

so i thought it through when i was running today,
what is important to me,
what kind of life do i want to lead.

well,
life is love
love is life
so love life :)

after all in this complicated reality, what is important is being true to yourself.


i just want to be a simple, average person

and lead a simple life :)

i should be finishing up the business law tutorial but i decided to chuck it aside and type on my lappie. :X at least i have done most of it :)

well, i have been blog-surfing and encountered several bloggers with an interesting lifestyle. like this talented local short-film director who won many international awards with his short-film: Keluar Baris, and he goes travelling around the world with invites from international short-film festivals.

we should support local directors! i really want to catch this short-film but the film-festival is long over so i have no idea where to watch it. there's the trailer:



the trailer is full of emotions! i hope they come out with the vcd or dvd soon.

i have the impulse to ride on the cheap air tickets to New York again during december and spend a white christmas over there. hm... :X

Wall.E and Technology

i watched Wall.E with twin last tuesday when he came over to find me. it's an okay movie, i preferred the previous few pixar/disney movies thou. but wall.e and eva r both so cute!

then i was pondering if technology has made us better. the future projection of humans in the movie holds a high possibility of coming true. will we spend our time in travelling seats in front of a screen which we will face for the rest of our life?

for starters, i'm not really a fan of technology, coz i'm always addicted and dependent on it. (example: internet, facebook)

i always love to imagine the possibility that i had grew up in a simple life, living in a simple farm-town somewhere, go to high school all that... meet somebody i like in school or in the town.. dating involves lying on the grass fields, climbing up to rooftops to watch the stars, plucking apples from the apple tree, sleeping among the big field of flowers etc.

a world without complicated technology e.g. internet.. wii... playstation... ipod.. etc....nevermind wadever jc or wadever university we go to.. know nothing about LV, Chanel, nor fancy/luxurious restaurants/hotels, luxury cars like ferrari or BMW are out of sight.... an escape from the stressful complicated reality.

then i guess people will be more true to themselves.

wad an irony, i'm thinking about this type of life while typing on a laptop and blogging.

omg. i really can't live without shopping man. money is the only restrain i'm not shopping everyday/week. haha.. anyway.... friday went out with waiyin to shop/eat/bitch. hahahax.. and i bot a pair of shoes from zara.. and saw a few really really nice stuff but due to restain i can onli get max 1 piece. argh. or should i wait until sale.

anyway its good bitching session with her at wheelock sun n moon.. hahax.. and her bf and i planned a surprise visit coz her bf was supposed to be in tekong, then he suddenly appeared and her facial expression is really timeless and priceless. hahahx.

argh there's so many nice stuff at zara i wanna get!!! like this and that one. look.

huiting's party

YAYNESS!!

we 'celebrated' huiting's 21st on tuesday, we had prepared a medicure set for her, all those buffer stuff, the i-dunno-wad-issit-called stuff bot frm random shops all packed inside a box. hahax.. medicure is actually more difficult and complicated than calculus. nxt time i shall try either medicure or pedicure.

so we ate at the mac seats, with yu and beaven. less a cake!!! my fav part of bdae. haix. and was intending to sing the bdae song for her during one of her lectures. hahah. i hope she post the pictures up soon! and have fun for the rest of the day.

life's a bitch for me currently. i have this 'irritated' bug in me i can't seem to remove. like i feel irritated very easily when i see something i despise or discriminate. nvms.

oh i mentioned i wana create another blog, constructions on the way but i'm caught up with school at the moment so it's slightly delayed.

this wkend..... buy shoes and if the HE wallet arrives i'll grab it too.

saturday training at Spore indoor stadium with huiyu coz she also signed up for the 'refresher' course, but main motive is to eat free food. hahax. was quite interesting.. i really look forward to attending one of the events!

i wanted to go shopping around orchard coz I haven bot A SINGLE THING in spore since i came back frm Boston/New York!!!! she said that i've already bot a lot there.. yah that's reasonable arguement.. but I HAVEN SHOPPED IN ORCHARD SINCE I CAME BACK!!! ahhaha.. it's been around 2 months. ok mayb not that long.

AND SURPRISE SURPRISE!!! 2 major surprises for me.

1. ALL THE TOPSHOPS IN ORCHARD CLOSED!!!
and thus i tot topshop went out of business in spore and pave a way for H&M, but suspected they'r gona open a HUGE one in ion orchard.

2. THERE IS A MEN'S COLLECTION IN MANGOOO!!!! OMGGGGGG

it's called Homini Emerito by mango, in short, H.E. by mango. i have made the statement before, that if ever mango comes out with a guys collection, i'll sure buy everything. hahah and cindy also blogged b4 if mango has a mens collection ernest will confirm buy everything. ahhahax.

but i see the price. i think erm... it's juz a passing statement. hahahaha.. but i saw a quite nice wallet on the website but it' not yet in spore. ok mayb buy SOME stuff but not all.

and i saw a pair of nice shoes at zara i wanna buy. i hope its not sold out by next wkend coz i'm gona get it!

after orchard drove to cindy's hse to visit her b4 she's back to the states. and she made jelly with sou mun. hahahax. and she packed this HUGE box of meiji biscuits in her luggage.

then sunday after tuition.. went to shop around for huiting's present coz her bdae's coming! then after directly went to city hall for some shopping, dat's where i saw that topshop did not dao bi, then esplanade to watch:

the concert overall was not bad! I LOVE THE SECOND SONG! if i'm not wrong, it's Missa Lorca: Kyrie. fantastic! the best piece i've heard in years! the melody is really beautiful, and u noe a good choral piece when u can totally connect the music and the scene it's portraying. and woon and songern has solo parts too! they r damn zai.
