TW2: Week 1,2,2.5
hi i am still aliving and kicking except my blog which has a lot of singapore spiderwebs. i am not lost or disappeared or gotten H1N1(choy!) in taiwan.
today's an offical taiwan public holiday, which is Duan Wu Jie, one of the biggest chinese holiday (except in singapore), and tmr's another holiday coz they wanna make it a consequitive long holiday.
usually weekends we'll travel around taiwan, but it's a super peak period so all the train and ferry tickets, hotels and homestays are fully booked so we decided to stay in kaohsiung for the holidays and i can finally rest a bit and do some tidyings.
our travels:
week 1: explore kaohsiung's night markets, weekend we went kenting and heng chun to do some water sports like snorkelling, banana boat, scenery, and went to visit the cape no.7 house, watching sunsets on the mountain and ate good food.

week 2: weeked we went to green island, one of the must-go places in taiwan. the seawater hot spring is one of the 3 seawater hot springs in the world. we soak in the seawater spring, watch the stars and saw many many shooting stars and the milky way, and saw a meteor burning in earth's atmosphere. super nice! and saw the mei-hua-lu, some cherry blossom deer which is native on the island.
and we went snorkelling, which is much better than kenting's, saw Nemo and Dory and many many corals and the big famous golden coral.

week 3: long holiday, which is today, we wanted to go penghu but it is too expensive and inaccessible, but it was also super peak so we decided not to go anywhere else.
planned week 4: 4 days 3 nights at Taipei!
other weeks: Alishan, taidong, hualien, and we'r almost done with all around taiwan!
i super wanna go Alishan coz of the cold weather and mountains! we din go this week coz it's raining there.
currently we'r staying in a hostel out of campus because the international villa is full but it's just 10 minutes walk to school la so it's ok, and more convenient coz we can hang out very late and hungry we can go eat desserts at the row of dessert shops behind us. hahha. well i guess there are pros and cons to staying outside, we'r also like isolated from the rest of the international students so we hardly interact with them.
good roomies never last long for me.
at first we 2 guys were staying in campus, while the girls were staying here. and my roomie's a japanese from uni of san diego exchanging here, and he cleaned up the room for me! Akira is super nice but we were only roomies for 2 days before we decide to move in with the others for more convenience.
and this current roomie which is the other ntu guy.. mmm.. just say i'll be happier and better off without him. nightmore of staying in hostel is to get a bad roomie. or mayb i'm just being too picky.
so far i've spent 2.5 weeks here.. have quite gotten used to the chinese world they live in, except that i still speak like a foreigner. and in school every week we have to write one chinese compo and do a chinese presentation report. bzzzz.
i'll upload all my photoes on facebook tonight (i think). haha. this grp of ppl dun like to take photoes of themselves, they only like to take photoes of non-living things, so most of the photoes are only me and objects. haha. very rare not to find camwhores nowadays leh! and i really miss camwhoring with my friendsssssss. after taking so many photoes i realise i have good foresight for good pictures! some photoes i took are really good postcards standards! yay nice!
ok time to buy bubble tea with grass jelly!

Star Trek
When i saw the trailer, i was damn sure i wanna watch it because the trailer left me hanging on my seat!
i went into the movie without any knowledge or whatsoever fact about star trek
and to tell the truth, i hated star trek because it sounds like star wars, and i was not a star trek fan, but after watching the movie, instantly became a fan of star trek.
furthermore the movie is directed by J.J. Abrams, one of my fav directors.
Action packed, sci-fi, space travel stuff, it's totally my type of movie. AWESOME!
haha i dun mind watching a second or third time.
it's THE MOVIE OF THE YEAR. (at least for now) and i specially wanted to watch this b4 i go taiwna.
but i read some reviews, some star trek fans were disappointed about the movie because it does not follow the original, but on a whole new level, it's a great movie for non star trek fans and it's really easy to understand. if u like star wars, u will LOVE this movie.

Mambo KTV jumbo
Long time since i dine at ambush!!
this time with the 2 ladies whom i had my virign friends-only-overseas trip.
My first time give to them leh! how can i ever forget. hahaha
so long never meet up already leh! haha rare orh. good catching up.
everyone's going everywhere during this summer... mi going taiwan, waiyin going hk and mayb china, theng2 going korea, japan and taiwan for grad trip.
we are travel addicts.
after dinner .....
same as last year, after our exams we decided to go MAMBO!
in the end we went to zouk....................'s enterance
and then took bus to top one ktv. hahaha
and wad a coincidence saw darius who claimed that 3 other girls pulled him there. haaa who will bliff!
then liwen brought this geekish spects which everyone must wear..
i dunno why i always look like se peh peh when i wear geekish spects.

what i have been doing recently...
as a Marvel fan, how can i miss X-men origins: Wolverine?!
and the movie is as great! just that it doesn't follow the storyline. and i have become a fan of Deadpool! he just swings his sword and he can cut bullets before they reach him! OMG that is totally cool. and he's also proficient in guns and martial arts too!!
but ya, the movie doesn't follow the comics. i'd prefer deadpool in the comics.
and a lot of great movies are coming out!! transformers 2.. star trek.. harry potter..
anyone wans to watch star trek b4 sunday? haha
met up with bernice who is getting married! my first fren who's getting married! i'm so excited for her, she's like setting up a family already!
and ate at chip bee gardens beside holland v, the pizza bar with very nice mango avocado and shrimps salad, and ORGASMIC tiramisu. it's the best tiramisu i've ever ate. seriously.
and i've been training with my trainer.. haax. intensive, aggressive and hellish training.
from 2 person traning to 5 people. i can feel some fat loss la, and i hope i can lose somemore fats before sunday!
speaking of which, today i went to collect my taiwan visa and my virgin usage of WALKMAN in my new W705, i am really amazed at the sound quality!
not that i'm advertising for SE, the walkman phone really exceeds my expectations in delivering music to my ears especially with the premium headset paired with the phone! True quality sound with clear stereo and bass. SE is really not boasting.
and i've unlocked my 1000 songs in my memory card, which is free when u get the phone from singtel. woohoo! they really put A LOT OF SONGS in the memory card for me.. from kelly clarkson to sunyanzi to leehom to lady gaga. i doubt i can finish listening to all.
oo btw i'm quite excited my uni is just beside the sea! and it has it's own marine department too! and the night market is just nearby!
