Exciting year ahead

It gonna be an exciting year in 2013 with a lot of travelling and visitings

• My parents maybe visiting in April
• Choir peeps visiting in June
• Cousins visiting in Sept
• KW going BJ in July - Sept
• KKW visiting in 2014 march

I will also be travelling around the scenic spots in China including Zhang Jia Jie, Huang Shan, Jiu Zhai Gou etc.

When I was back home this CNY, I also got to know some very exciting stuff

• The slut seduced the guy and caused a breakup
• A female friend suddenly got a malay girlfriend after many boyfriends
• My BFF's dad sold their house and bought one in Johore, and he and his siblings are now staying in different places during the weekdays. He is staying in his gf's place, in a room with his gf and her mum. HAHA. and he bought a 700 plane ticket to go Zurich in July! A REAL STEAL! 
• My friends and cousin got a HDB already
• My cousin's ex-bf has a new gf, whom i used to date
• That dumbass almost burnt down our house during CNY, the whole kitchen ceiling became black and she just left it there and went out till middle of the night, without telling anyone, leaving my parents to clean up the mess the next day. How convenient.

Its facinating how things change within a short period of a few months.

When I'm in Shanghai I don't feel like coming back.
When I'm back here I don't feel like going back.

Yeah, the weather here is better than I expected so I'm too afraid to go back to the cold and gloomy place. My friends and family makes it harder to leave.

But I really need to go back to my exercising life. I have been gathering fats in my body without burning them out.

I think I know why.
I have been in a very disciplined lifestyle, avoiding all the calorie filled sweet and fried food but I throw away that lifestyle once I stepped into my house. I need to get back in shape.

Chinese New Year 2013

I was so frustrated the moment I arrived. I waited half an hour at the airport exit because my mum was waiting at the wrong belt, quoting "because a lot of people came out from there" and the moment I reached home she told me she gave my fav backpack to my cousin. WTH.

Thankfully, the Chinese New Year this year salvaged my trip back. 

Similar to last year, the CNY was over the weekend, we departed on Friday afternoon after my good Thai food and ice cream lunch and stayed till Wednesday.

And again, I was quite reluctant to go back because of the boredom and same stuff every year but turns out it was one of the best CNY after the teenage years because my favourite pair of twins come back, with more witty talks and jokes. Plus I bought two kites back which flew really well.

For the past few years I wasn't able to hold conversation topics with them because of the generation gap, and puberty before and after, but we were able to chat until 4am about random stuff, from food to Korean pop to studies and work to sick movies like Saw and Final destination. We also have the capacity to participate in $1 blackjacks where I gave angbao to everyone.

 

Again, the topic of working in Shanghai came out in every conversation. Sometimes I really wanna help cousins with their education, but it is what it is with the education in Malaysia. The will is strong but there's not much I can do, the country is more backwards than Shanghai.

I really enjoyed my stay most of the time, let's see if i still have the same momentum next year.

So I sort of managed to infuse the idea of going to bars in my work place and I had two simultaneously, same bar at different outlets.

Sunday, we went to a bar just the 4 of us with a circle of trust and lots of dirty secrets.

Monday, which is today, we had a celebration dinner for the DnD event and it was happy hour 1 for 1. Drank lots and I can only talk to high level manager fluently when I'm high on alcohol. Hahaha. Turns out i'm always the talk of the dinner coz I'm the only Lao Wai they like to make fun of. It's also a farewell dinner for me.

Yes I'm sort of high now coz I'm flying back to SG tmr!!!! Woohoo!
