CNY 2016

I felt bad for not going back last year because the twins went back, expecting me but I didn't turn up. This time I told them I'm going back beforehand so I will get a chance to see them. It's once a year.

Food is awesome as usual.

This year, we tried to fish but there was no proper bait to fish and we were lazy to go down to the river which was 20mins away. We flew kite at the honeydew/ rock melon plantation and picked up some really sweet honeydew. We saw some snake and a fruit fox. The twins and I chatted so much and I am really impressed how mature they have become and their ambitions. They didn't want to spend their dad's money so they took a loan to study in college and worked part time on weekends to have extra allowance to play and stuff.

They wanted to travel but were scared because they'r not very good in English so I gave them a push and told them I would bring them to Bangkok coz that's the easiest. I wanted them to experience life as a traveler at their age. They also used their own pocket money to fund the trip.

Finally they are all grown up and we have common topics.

29

So what I did for my 29th birthday:

I got a strawberry shortcake from Paris Baguette on that day itself, somebody passed it to me on my way home.

I finally ate at Basilico Italian buffet lunch. The food and desserts were so awesome.

I exercised in the afternoon.

I went to Universal Studios Singapore for the first time, all thanks to the complimentary tickets from my company and I didn't have to queue for any rides at all. The maximum I waited for one ride was 3 minutes. I managed to complete all the rides except Jurassic Park within 1 hour and went on Battlestar twice. The Mummy was super scary, Battlestar is so awesome. The acceleration and the adrenaline.

One of the better birthdays I had.

29 we are young.
