Gummy Bear

I can't believe I'm having gummy bears almost once a week now.

It started in Bangkok when I had a gummy bear in the morning which I felt was rather average, It wasn't as good as I though it would be but after over a week in japan without gummy bears, I had it for the second time and though it's getting better

The next time it was a little hard to bite because it keeps getting stuck in my teeth.

I ate two packs last weekend and it was so satisfying and tiring, although gummy bears have a laxative effect if you have too much.

Amit Amei Utopia

One of the best concerts and singers that I have seen while working at Indoor Stadium is Amei Star and it just stuck to my mind and held the standards the whole time. This time round Amei and Amit is having a concert, I MUST atttend.

It's super awesome and it was like a giant club. The crowd including me went crazy when she went 这是个月亮, 就是个月亮. One of my favourite song by Amit.  She over ran the concert so there wasn't any encore and she said that she was so shocked at our energy level and how high we were.

All of us danced like mad and went home sweating, satisfied and craving for more. Till next time, Amei.

Myoko Tokyo 2015 2016

I've booked this snow trip way ahead in august when Vietnam airlines had a promotional price of $515, which is a pretty good deal for year end travel.

This year the snow came late because of El Nino, so only one or two slopes were open when we arrived but luckily there was a snow dump that night we arrived and it snowed heavily for the entire night and day. It was super cold but worth it.

Fel and friends joined us so first day we boarded at Akakura Kanko.

Second day she left and we boarded at Akakura Onsen and third day at Suginohara. Oh I realised my ski attire is too big for me so I change to an entirely new one.

Suginohara is one of the best slopes I've been. It's long and broad, beautiful scenery  and took em about 25 mins for my firstt run. The cable car took about 15 minutes to go up and I think I did about -8 times until my legs were super sore. I'd love to go back there to board again but I'll get bored. Heh.

Then we went to Nagano for some trekking which was a little tough, then I headed to Tokyo.

So I had a few aims for this Japan Trip.
1. to snowboard
2. to buy the watch that I have been eyeing for 1 year
3. to buy Japanese alcohol and snacks and shopping stuff

I went to Kichijoji to find the watch shop and it was epic-ly closed for 7 days for the New Year. Oh wells. At least I found some good food there, like this thing over here.

I went to the cafe at Harajuku for this famous Pablo cheese tart

Countdown at Senoji temple again, but this time I went around 11.51 and the queue was so long that the police had to close all the roads leading to the temple. At least the crowd was fast, I only queued for an hour before I completed my tasks at the temple. I've got a good fortune too.

First day of the New Year, Hatsumode as usual. We went to this shine with tori gates.

Thanks to my cousin's ex-boss, we found a really cheap business hotel just beside a JR train station and saved up quite a fair bit, which led to me over buying too much Japanese snacks and liquor and those wu eh bo eh stuff. It was an okay trip I guess, it would have been better if I could share most of my food with somebody less picky, and spend more quality shopping time at Shinjuku (which I am still super lost). I'd get a better Japan trip again this year probably.

I'm also not sure if I would return to snowboard this year-end due to budget constrain but right now I'm having snow withdrawals now. I also came back with a bad flu, with MC for the first two days of work and still having blocked nose now. Let's see my mood and budget mid-year.

And again, went to Myoko for snowboarding during Xmas and managed to go to Suginohara, one of the longest slopes in Japan. Countdown at Senoji Temple again, and got a good fortune.

2015.
A year of emotions for me. The first half of the year was quite slow for me. I skipped Port Dickson for the first time during Chinese New Year. I experienced all sorts of extremes this year and I cried really badly for the first time in so many years when my grandma passed away. I thought I was prepared for it but it hit me real bad. 2 deaths and 1 birth in the family. I started going to the pool on weekday nights and Saturdays and gym on Sundays.

The second half of the year was gearing up for more surprises. Soul cleansing at Bali and so much unexpected travel, experiences as well as expenses. I think I was really crazy to try all sorts of things but well that's life. Also, so much drinking and bar hopping nights and meeting different people and unexpected encounters. I done it this year, I have really overspent this year and I was so afraid to be jobless after the retrenchment exercise. The New Year countdown at Tokyo was so crowded as usual but it was fast. 3 trips to Japan this year and I'm still not sick of it.

2015 is really a year to remember.

2016.
I can foresee that it's a very stable year for me, I'm hoping for some big stuff coming up for me. I'm going to cut down on my expenditure on travelling and save up more this year. Thanks to the good fortune from Senoji Temple, I'm looking forward to so many exciting stuff and I'm not alone. 2016.
