k-ing all the way

the year end is a k-marathon for me but i am really enjoying it!

29th, monday
Singing with huiting and huiyu!! haha the trio unites again to dominate the ktv songs! yay!! so long have we k together! i think at least half a year. fun as usual, we went to topone for the 7hrs singing after buying bread frm breadtalk. haha, huiting bot us drinks to heal our throat after the 7hr marathon. fun and i got to sing all the pan wei bo songs i wanted to sing. hahaha.

30th, tuesday
woke up early again to go JB with dearies to sing again!
first time into the newly-built custom, first impression is like going into an airport! haha. it's very very big, new and spacey! finally they decided to make a super upgrade of the custom and service-wise is not bad too! haha kudos to the super upgrade, but it's actually really too big and too much space la. as compared to the previous hot, dirty, cui customs, i'm not complaining. haha
and the best thing, the route to city square is so so simple! juz follow the directions and tada, u'r there. no crossing of dirty roads, no traffic lights, sheltered all the way to the shopping center! we went there to take cab to Pelangi.

ok main point is the ktv, IS SUPER CHEAP! it's really madness. we went for a k-lunch, then we extended, and guess what,
11.30 to 5.30, a set lunch and 3 free drinks, total up to RM23 per person!! it's like 10SGD per pax!!!
OMGGGGGGGGGGG i have never been to such a cheap ktv in my life.

that's why everyone says hu hu!

haha.
then we went back to city square for super cheap kenny rogers and secret recipe, then we bot Jco donuts!! there's an opening promotion of 2 dozen for RM37, means 1 dozen for less than 8SGD! i am not going to buy Jco from raffles city again.
yayyy! we really enjoyed ourselves with all the cheap stuff.
haha. i'm sure this wun be the last time we'r going there!

Xmas 2008

My Christmas this year was spent with dearies!
initially we planned to have a xmas bbq, but with only 5 people, and the bbq pits were all fully booked, so we decided to buy food and chill in my room!

we walked around the extended and flooded JP but can't find anything to buy back, so ended up eating fish & co. hahax!
then we bought some tidbits and desserts back to the room.

Hiang brought twister and it was quite fun but torturous! haha like doing yoga.

Xmas exchange!!! yay!!! hahaha everyone was avoiding steph's lousy presents. ahaha
i got hiang's godiva chocos!! leong got my milka chocos!

Took neoprints using my laptop's webcam! hahaha

this video is damn farnie!! i was testing the webcam and they were saying my cam was lagging. then i took video w/o them knowing. watch leong the rocking horse, hiang the dinosaur, kenny reaching for the moon, steph doing the hu hu! hahaha

Merry Xmas everyone!!

We had a great home-ly xmas party!

pre xmas

The past few days have been filled with many many crazy activities!

went for Andy Lau's concert and Fei lun Hai's concert!
erm.. nothing much to say, andy lau's concert's not our type, i shall reserve the comments for fei lun hai's concert to myself in case i get spammed by some fan. ha.
oh and watched bolt during the SIS year end gathering, plus buffet!

and most of the time was spent with dearies! (aka pri sch frens)
We went 7 hrs k-ing at top one, bot present and celebrated hiang's bdae at cck mac with my freshly baked carrot cake, watched Twilight at cine and holland v for zi char dinner, then stayover at my hall- to help recover the rental fees paid for the month. and they caught my Bu Liang Xiao Hua fever!!! hahaha!! it's totally such a nice show!! and we spent the night walking around NTU. haha.

many more activities lining up for xmas!

and yesterday was the annual choir xmas bbq at songern's hse! this year's not much people came, but at least there are representatives from every batch! haha. even jr came! and we had xmas xchange and stayeover! we spent the night playing wii, although super fun but i was super tired and first to KO. the k-ing session after the sleepover never came coz we were too tired, haha it's always the case.

It's the happiest season of the year!

dream?

i think it's the illusional effects of coffee.

sometimes i feel that i dream too much.
issit overboard to overdream?
do dreams ever come true?
how do we keep dreams going?
or issit that dreams keep us going?

i feel the old me coming back! :)

can i dream?

new idol

i have a new idol besides yan zi and ah mei!

this is his story:
He was studying at one of the University in Canada when he was 19, he had participated in a singing competition which managed by BMG Music. However, he was not selected for second round but something good was coming up to him. He had received a call from Channel [V] programme manager and invited him for a voice test. When he went back to Taiwan during school holiday they had invited him again to Hong Kong. In October year 2000, he had joined Andy Lau’s company as VJ.

At the beginning, Channel [V] had gave him about 6 programmes to host and he handled it well in a short period. But for him this is a good opportunity for him to gain knowledge especially on music. For the first six months, no one knows who he was, but he never gave up and no fear of obstacles, he believed in what he’d believed and decided to go ahead with his dream. His first acting opportunity came during his service at Channel [V]. His manager had assigned him for a drama series , however he had no chance to be an singer for that moment, but he willing to take this new challenge to gain some experience.

For the first week this drama series was highly demanding, eventually became famous among young teenagers. That was unexpected result and the first experience he never had before. This is a great encouragement for him, all efforts that he put it’s returned.

There were 4 recording companies wish to acquire him, but at last he gave up the others with great conditions but signed up Universal Music as a singer. Finally after struggling for 3 years as a VJ, he almost wanted to give up but he believed in hard work and now he got his chance to become a singer.

His first album came out in 2002, when he was 22. And so far he had 8 albums, including the lastest compilation of his best songs, Will's future.

I only noticed him in my craze for 不良笑花!
At first i had stereo-typed him as the good-looking-but-cannot-sing type of singer (like most of taiwanese singers), but after knowing his story of how he became a singer, i really admired him.

From just a VJ who can't sing, can't dance, can't act, he had to learn everything the hard way and work doubly hard and change everyone's stereo-type views about him become just good looking but can't sing.

Now he writes/composes/produces his own songs and does for other singers, dances and raps very well and made improvements in his singing! And he's still so humble and optimistic and working hard after 7 years! and his popularity is second to Jay Chou in China and i think his popularity and album sales are soaring exponentially after the airing of 不良笑花.

Morale of the story: HARD WORK DOES PAY OFF.
i really admire him for all his hard work and did not only depend on his good looks!

here's one of his nice songs he wrote himself:

不良笑花

OMG I'M TOTALLY ADDICTED TO THE SHOW!!!!!!
XIAO HUA IS SUPER ULTRA FARNIE!!!

Under normal circumstances, i'm not a fan of taiwanese drama serials but after i came across this show, i gave it a chance and after one episode i got sucked into it like a whirlpool!

it's not ur typical taiwanese fan drama where people keep repeating the same things over and over again, instead it's a super funny show although some jokes are rather lame, it's just totally my kind of mandarin show for relaxation.

it's the perfect show to spend the holidays, will not require much brain cells to understand and my stomach hurts from all the laughing.

HIGHLY recommended!!!
start ur addiction by clicking on this link for the first episode:

bert's party

went for albert's high-end party at east coast chalet!

firstly i felt bad about buying topman card, because buying vouchers do not portray any sincerity, and it was rather last minute. but at least it beats buying something that he doesn't like, and it's just in time for the big end-of-year sale!

i haven been to chalet for sooooo long! anyway his unit underwent a renovation and it's quite big and nice! food was good..

i really have to emphasize on the cakes.
yes, cakes. not 1, not 2 but 5 cakes!!!!
ALL FROM MY FAV SHOP, THE PATISSIERIE!!!!

i am so pampered with not 1, not 2, but 5 cakes.
i orgased and died a million times.

then caught little nonya on tv, and before we went off, he gave us the exquisite door gift: 4 premium chocolates from canele.

high-end huh!

parties mambo and yoga

i feel like i'm playing too much and neglecting my blog.
so here i am to update!
enjoying many parties, mambo, and yoga.

first up, roomie's 21st at the warren condo:

i think the camera exaggerates expressions. i am not so scary. haha

BBQ and class gathering.

next up, dearies went for our long-awaited post-exam celebration at mambo!!
it was so crowded that we initially wanted to give up and go catch a show instead, but the queue was fast.
The floor was filled to the max. but we managed to survive and found our own space. heh.

less kee wei.

the music wasn't as good, it didn't feel like mambo at all!
but the company was good!! i'm sure we totally enjoyed ourselves for our first time clubbing together. haha.

and saw many familiar faces!
one new familiar face when we were leaving
'you should have called me, i can put you on guest list'
heh.

then there's the tourist xmas photoes at vivo city!

fyi it's the biggest xmas tree in spore

lastly, to balance off all the unhealthy parties and pigging, I've been going for hot yoga for a few days already, can say that i'm a little addicted to it.

Hot yoga is done in a heated room of 37C, and the sweating excretes toxins from your body. Well after several times i do really feel healthier and cleansed, physically more fexible and joints loosened-up, mentally more relaxed. and i always have a good nights sleep after that. Haha sounds like i'm endorsing yoga, but no, i wished they had paid me for advertisement.

overall YOGA IS GOOD FOR HEALTH! and to get prepared for the xmas feast!!

woohoo xmas is coming!!
the happiest time of the year with roasting chestnuts and nibbling jackfrost!!!

reduce fats

my plans for reducing body fats failed miserably

i went for hot yoga,
but ate a pint of ben n jerry's after that.

i went running,
but suppered at night.

it seems like i'm gaining more than i'm losing!
arh!!!
more parties to attend, more buffets, more glorious food!!!!
arh!!!

btw the last post is about raining at night.
such a beautiful scene only to reward those who are still awake to witness it.
i love those rains at night.

The familiar stranger comes when the world's asleep.

ripples on the reflected orange puddle.

its breath comforting yet mysterious.

then leaves as silently as it came.

peter's bdae

i'm so awestruck! star-struck!

imagine see-ing and interacting with Stef Sun, Felicia Chin, Diya, Zhong Chong Qing, some guy in superband, and some famous local stylists ALL IN ONE NIGHT.

It's Peter laoshi's birthday party at MC!

then there's this famous stylist who always appear alongside with david gan on TV, and some fashion talk-show alongside with fann wong, i think his name is Jerald or something like that,

Ruth and i actually met him while we were shopping for Peter's present at Agnes b, and he bought this BIG bag frm Agnes b while we bought something small. We totally did not anticipate that he's attending Peter's party too!!
So paiseh people buy something so big while we had something small. haha. but actually it's the thought that counts la. haha.

and yups, totally enjoyed myself!

And there's another of Peter's friend who's damn funny and daring! haha he came into MC with a big bottle of champaign, and starting singing Tian Mi Mi with the bottle as a mic and dancing and i was so shocked i thought he was crazy.

and he turns out to be really a crazy guy, but he's super funny!
He speaks in all dialects and loudly, the things he says super funny. haha i can't describe but u must be there to see him in action. if it isn't for cindy i wouldn't have known that he's a famous stylist in spore.

and he told me while we were leaving
"eh boy arh, stay cute okay?"

so old liao still cute meh.

mc open

my dear ruth was the first person i met up and caught up with after my exams!!
haha

MC open hse! catch up with peter lao shi and finally hear his singing! wad a nostalgic feeling.

and we turned the room into kbox when me and ruth sang all the duets and songs..
and after not singing for like what, a few months, i really have to practise a lot, it's ultimate chui-ness. pitching, tuning, toning.. ALL MESSED UP!!!! ARHHHHHHHHHH

dinner at penarakan buffet at bugis, where both of us longed to visit!! and it's quite cheap for dinner buffet. although the spead was not wide, but it's decent peranakan food: all the kuehs, curry sambal asam, mee siam and laksa, gado gado, and the jelly dessert which i LOVEEEE (on par with bread pudding)
and for dinner its ard $31 for 2 people, quite decent for a buffet spread.

oh if u wana visit it's opposite bugis, near liang seah st.

then with bulging stomach we went to shop a bit at bugis and her fav arcade. ha. overall quite fun catching up!

oh fyi i'm working on a very long entry. haha stay tuned!

mid mid-sem

it's been a long time since i blogged! 11 days to be exact.
that's what i feel la. i missed my blog. the last time i went on hiatus was either i was in army-taiwan, or went travelling.

i'm sure u readers missed my blogging too. heh

the blog serves as an outlet for me amidst this stressful and lifeless period of time, when all we do is to study, study and study.

after all, all work and no play makes jack a dull boy, but no work and all play makes jack a university dropout and end up a poor boy in the future. well, we can't work all day and no play at all, so a little play is essential for the continuity of studying.

we must have a motivation for studying, mine is looking forward to the rewards i get after exams. Rewards, i mean those i would give myself.. like these....

indulging in ben n jerry's until it becomes tom and jerry's.
indulging in kbox until my voice k.
indulging in VCDS/DVDS until @@
indulging in movies until i can't move.
indulging in animes until i become animated.
indulging in comics until i can write in comic sans.
indulging in shopping/window shopping/online shopping until the shops close.
indulging in buffet until i cannot become bu fei.
indulging in running and swimming until... erm.. i burn all the calories gained in buffet.

yups, that's about my plans for post-exams. yah corny, i noe. that's how i express myself.

so far for me, i feel quite disappointed for my exams.
as much as i don't want to be negative about it, i can't help but feel pessimistic, considering all my carelessness and dunno-how-to-do questions.

the day before i was still thinking of rewarding myself with a pint of ben n jerry's but after this physics paper i totally lost the mood for ice-cream.
and it doesn't help when your friends discuss the answers and realised more mistakes.

i can't conclude that i did not study hard enough, coz it was an open book exam.
and i have certain expectation of myself.

perhaps i'm just not as good as i thought i was.

........

3 more to go next week, all of very different discipline:
material science - more of chemistry and physics
business law - law
life science - biology

no more regrets.

i can almost smell a faint scent of something familiar...
hm.. is that........
freedom?

Musicman

After a grueling series of quizes this week, finally went for Leehom's Musicman (i replaced kenny coz he has a party to attend).

well, personally i'm not a fan of lee hom,
i had high hopes for this concert coz it had the best lighting effects, only second to jay chou's.
the beginning is always high, but the middle part was a lil boring. i dun really understand what he's doing with all those rapping songs and weird songs that doesnt rhyme. and he can't speak chinese properly!

but towards the end all the high songs began and the concert ended quite nicely! i was dancing a bit to the tunes too.

oh kit chan and stef sun were present at the concert too!!!! arhh yan zi!!! how i wish i was the one who escorted her to her seat!

overall i feel that amei's concert was much better la. she has a better voice obviously and she really sings for the audience. haha. i'm probably biased.

well i guess i wun be blogging for the next few weeks due to exams,
so meanwhile be good,
take care and cheerios mates!

let's work hard together!

ok i noe this entry's a bit late..
last sunday we went cycling when it didn't rain at all! yay!
thank you mother nature!!
well there were dark clouds but they were blown away.

long time since we cycled!! i'll let the pictures do the talking.

the guys.

not only we cycled, we fished too!

and pear finally learns how to cycle!

we lost some fats! :) but our butt hurts!

Do not cycle and camwhore.
unless u'r a safe cycler like me :P
u just love the hair too dun u?

lunch at hong kong cafe at east coast,
we went to Parkway parade (aka paragon/marina parade/plaza sing etc) to gain back all the calories we lost by indulging in swensen's. haha so we'r back to square one. heh.

Monday, October 27, 2008

i am very happy this weekend!!! :)
and lost some fats too. haha

will blog about it after all my quizzes!

wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

knock

i went home yesterday! and today too!

for tuition la... haha

then i was digging for some food in the fridge and closed the fridge door very quickly without realising i have not pulled my head completely out of the fridge..
and the fridge door knocked onto my lower jaw.

ouch.

still looking inside the fridge when i was closing the door.
the consequences of being greedy. ):

and i earned extra allowance from my tuitioning!
so i wun feel bad about shopping la! heh.

good luck to the kid! tmr's his worse nightmare: the maths paper. haha

birthdays sundays

my hall internet connection is a lil dorky,
for the past 2 days i can't seem to log on to msn and can't connect to blogger website! so thus the delay...

last sunday was superb!

we met up FINALLY with plans to go ecp to cycle, but mother nature has other plans... so we got to know that it was raining heavily at ecp while we were still lunching at shokudo.

and we celebrated kailing's super belated and pear's bdae! :)
so wet weather plan= shopping and eating! haha.. woon pear and me shared this ultra big yoghurt ice cream from yoguru, niceee and we are going to have good digesting process afterwards. haha. and desserts again at MOF, marina sq.

rain, rain
go away,
come again another day!
(except next sunday)

headed down to bugis to meet the dearies!

haha another bdae celebration again!
ha so sorry i kept missing my directions and bringing them across the dangerous bugis road. heh.

At Crystal Jade Hong Kong Cafe at Liang Seah.

Jay Chou with his presents. hope u liked them!
Happy 21st Kenny! :)

i suspect Kenny is a closet camwhore!
he takes the perfect photoes with all of us together! haha

oh we had dessert at Liang Seah too.
super niceeeeee. thanks kenny for the treat!
heh. so bad for letting the bdae boy treat.
well as long as he's happy! :)

i love desserts!

tuition kid

i really hand it to my tution kid.

His mathematics is REALLY BAD, sometimes i feel like i'm speaking spanish to him, but he still understands, he just dun see the light at the end of the tunnel.

and it sort of disappointing to me, coz i'm always scolding him for not reading the questions carefully, and he STILL has problems with his timetables.

this is worrying for a primary 4 standard!!

but then again, the primary 4 mathematics now is a lot more difficult than our era, i doubt i can do all the sums when i'm in primary 4!
Problem sums like find the volume of water in the tank after 2/5 of the water has been poured out. i wonder if i knew how to derive the answer when i was his age.

it's really scary to think of what they'r teaching now in school as compared to that of our time. i mean why would they wanna raise the standard when some of the students can't catch up! and it also adds much stress to them and their parents as well. Childhood should be as carefree and fun for kids and we shouldn't deprive them of it and turn it into a stressful and torturous stage of their lives.

well, judging by the way the kid analyses the questions, i can tell that he's more of an arts person rather than mathematics person. like he'll comment that why the stickers are so expensive.. why john earns so much money.. that kinda stuff usually people don't really take note of.

and he does the darnest things.
he still counts additions, subtractions and multiples using his fingers. i told him that he shouldn't count with his fingers anymore now that he's primary 4 already,
he says okay,
brings up his feet,
and counted using his toes.

talk about lame.

balloons

can u see her?

haha this was quite some time ago, when woon and i had to transport 50 MARBLE BALLOONS in a cab to naifen's bdae party venue.

come to think of it, i tot it was an incredible feat!
and super funny too! hahaha

luckily we ain't that big sized. i guess the taxi driver was super amused too!

guess which glutton's back!

Mr Monash spokesperson, fan of all apple products, Mr Sean Tan.

hahaha
oops i was browsing through my photoes i can't find any pictures taken with him!
well there's always facebook :) haha.

something interesting: Each of his family members owns the iphone. so cool!
a family of iphones, imagine family gatherings everyone whips out their iphone and starts surfing the internet. hahaha just kidding sean!

so friday we went along to dine at Relish, a branch of Wild Rockets. then settled for desserts at Island Creamery!
sorry for the burgers, i knew u already had loads of them in Auz. haha. and the pink killer beer is super nice!

wah long since i've gone to Island creamery for ice cream! i really missed those days we used to celebrate our bdaes during the first 3 months of JC.

he said he'll upload the photoes after he gets back to Auz, so that'll be like soon la. haha

saturday was retail therapy again with albert and mab! haha. Retail therapy.
Bert is the ultimate shopperholic. He owns almost all the membership cards you can think of.. NUM.. Fred Perry.. the patisserie..
and he indulges in shopping when he's overseas.
and he contributes a large proportion to singapore's economy! haha.
but he's a very good shopping guide and retail advicer la. i always enjoy shopping with him. haha.

by the way the patisserie has the awesomest cakes ever! but at a lil high price.. heh.

sunday brunch at waraku with woon and denise! :)

i'm still in love with the pasta and pizza!

and we got a complimentary dessert too, thanks to the chef who got my pasta mixed up, used fettuccine instead of spagetti for my pasta.

Tiramisu with ice-cream, strawberries, bananas and cornflakes topped with chocolate sauce.
looks so sinfully tempting isn't it? haha :)

Denise invited us to attend her church after that, so i was okay with it coz woon wanted to go too. Then we indulged in some wonderful waffles at cottage waffle place after that, we shared a fondue for two.

it's all eat eat eat eat and eat during weekends,
i think i just gained like 5 kg this weekend indulging in all the sinful stuff!

GLUTTONY is such a sin!

and it doesn't help at all when i go home every friday and my dad will buy my favourite supper: the kuay teow in black. who can resist not eating that!!!

and my mum cooks all the nice stuff.. so i have to eat double lunch or double dinner!

i missed my running this weekend!
means i have to run double the distance next weekend to burn all the calories i've gained over the two weeks.

sighs... the sinful effects of shopping and eating.

maths quiz today...

maths quiz today...

i got the paper and finished the 2 questions in matter of one or two minutes, while it was a 30 minutes paper. and spent some time checking the answers, then tutor prompted me if i wanna hand up my paper and i readily agreed.

the 2 questions were SUPER easy, i checked it over and over again, and even after i handed up i still went through it over my head, hoping for a perfect full marks that will get me an A+, since i've only got an A in my previous quiz.

well, seconds after i handed up the paper something twitched in my brain and i realised i've made a really careless mistake in my calculations.

i just forgot to square the (x+1) in the last part, so the answer differs by an x.
argh.
complacency led to my downfall.

a little disappointed with myself, maths has always been my forte. i can't keep using the excuse that army had retarded my brain cells coz my other guy friends did perfectly fine. and it never improves the situation to find out that you have made a mistake seconds after you had confidently handed up the paper.

oh wells. i can't get back the paper to edit my answers now although i knew where i've gone wrong. the lesson to take back today is to never hand in your paper before you have properly checked your answers even if your tutor prompted you to do so before the 30 minutes is up.

carelessness. mayb affected by my tutee.
ok excuses again.

nevertheless, it's still an A- or something similar.

A*mei Star

A*mei Star World Tour is seriously most awesome!

One of the main reason, ok it's the only reason i signed up for this Indoor Stadium job is for this concert. haha.

it's the best concert i've ever been to!!
sorry, no pictures coz i was working.

All the songs sang live were evidence that ah mei is still the heavenly diva.
she held her stamina all the way to the last song, to the encore songs. the energy, the vocals, the emotions, the dancing, all so perfectly executed.

the love ballads like 'Ru Guo Ni Ye Ting Shuo' (my fav song of the year), 'Ji De' and 'Yuan Lai Ni Shen Me Dou Bu Yao' maintained their recorded standards and spoke volume of how i felt recently. the magic of ah mei's vocals touched everyone in the stadium.

oh when she sang 'Ji De' which was the second or third song, she teared coz she was too overwhelmed by the warm audience.

special songs she sang alicia key's 'If i ain't got you' super good, and yanzi's 'Tian Hei Hei' and a concert premeire of a jap song which she sang in her musical in japan.

Not forgetting her fast songs like 'Qian Shou', 'Bad Boy', ' Volare', the audience were all bursting with energy, shouting their lungs out, jumping to the tunes, singing along with her.

oh man i could still feel some residual energy of the audience now. haha.

the last song 'San Tian San Ye' was the climax. everyone were on estacy, including me, but i had to remain calm although one of the fans beside me prompted me to jump along. haha. well professionalism counts.

oh man. i seriously have to kbox to blast some ah mei tunes. seriously she is the goddess! who can resist her high-ness?!

the next time she's having a concert, i'll still be there.
Not as a Guest Care Officer but a fan in the audience seat highing to her songs!

prawns

My dad bought a few VERY BIG prawns,
i have no idea what kind of prawns they are, they'r really big.

How to steam BIG prawns:

You need:

Big Prawns
water for boiling
slices of ginger
some salt and pepper
sesame oil
some hua diao jiu

1. Remove the prawns out of the freezer and let them thaw at room temperature.

2. Season the prawns with a dash of sesame oil, hua diao jiu, a pinch of salt and some pepper, and slices of ginger.

3. While waiting, boil the water in a steamer.

4. When water is boiled to steam, place the prawns in the middle of the rack above the boiling water, and cover.

PS: do not open the cover and face in immediately, unless you want to have a hot and steamy facial.

5. Time for 8-10 minutes

6. Remove the prawns from the steam. Caution: Hot!

7. and Voila! Fresh Steamed Juicy Big Prawns!

For best results, eat immediately! :)
Full of Oceanic Goodness!

kiat's farewell

Sorry this came a bit late,
but well, better late than never!

while i was feeling down from the PD trip, that day when i came back was weikiat's farewell!

The fun and laughter never stops in outings with dearies :)

Thanks for the laughs

it really cheered me up a little!

back to Port Dickson

for those who didn't know..

On friday morning, i received a msg from my cousin in M'sia saying that my popo fell very ill, that got me worried for the whole afternoon, i couldn't concentrate much for the rest of the day, then my mum msg me that we are going back to Port Dickson that night.

The trip was postponed to the next morning coz my dad was tired at night. (fyi it's a 3.5hr ride).

Reached there early in the morning, went to see her in the hospital in the afternoon.

Such heart-breaking painful scene, too much for me to bear. my popo lying on the bed with 2 machines supporting her life. she can't even open her eyes. all of us were talking to her, asking her to wake up.

i was fighting back tears, i can't do it in front of everyone, some 30 relatives.
and definitely not in front of the young cousins, i was the eldest cousin of the group.
it's really hard being the eldest. appearing strong is not my forte.

The second time was the next day, we went to see her was only with my family coz we were heading home after that.
The same pain, but this time round she appeared much better, she opened her eyes when i called her and i could see her tears gathering, and so did mine.

well, glad to say that she's doing really well now, the machines were no longer needed, she could move and talk as per normal. :) and she called my mum and said she had no time, she is busy talking. haha. please recover and get even better! :)
so do believe in miracles.

on a lighter note.......

i did have my fair share of fun! like i always do when i go back to Port Dickson.
my cousin's studying photography and she had this really pro canon camera.

damn old school!
my great-grandmother whom i never met, with popo and wai gong and the 10 kids.
The baby in popo's hands is my youngest uncle as you have seen earlier.
they had only 2 girls, the younger one's my mum..
the elder girl.. is my da yi

oh wait

look closely...
omg my da yi at that time looks like one of my friend!

all fun's aside
let's pray for popo to get even better! :)
