stressful decisions

I've not been blogging lately because I'm so stressed out because I have to make some major decisions. I've been getting insights and advices from all my friends but in the end it's a matter of finances, timing, location and a bit of fate/luck. But mostly finances. 

If only I strike toto then I don't have to worry about anything. 

This is my stressful face.

Anyway the company sent us a large box of 24 macarons from Patisserie G for the hard work hahaha. It's giving me diabetes but I just love macarons.

Going out in Feb

I've been going out and eating out and spending too much in Feb that I exceeded 1k in my regular spending already urgh. 

Wei Ling - Went to MBS with her because she wanted to try on Dior shoes but eventually she didn't get it. And also we had cocktails and snacks at Koma.

Kathy - had a birthday dinner with her and her new half Jap bf at Senor Taco. Like finally, I went there for a meal coz I knew chef Huang, who gave us free appetizers, free fish tacos and so many free desserts. It was so awesome to have friends who work at restaurants. We had 4 tequilla shots each, Kathy is crazy. The bill came up to about $150 each person ~$~ And then we went to her place to have more gin and tonic and I arrived home at 4am. That was the latest I went home since Covid hahaha

Kelvin and Andy - We went to Limoncello, an Italian restaurant along Robertson Quay where we trolled each other on how poor we were. I was telling them I started walking to the restaurant from home at 1pm coz I had no money to take public transport there. And also I really really love the food there. The pasta and pizza were one of the best I've had and I think I found my favourite Italian restaurant. The prices were ok too, just that the place was too out of the way - no MRT stations nearby and the bus stop is also a distance away. No pics for that day but I will definitely visit in the future.

Yu and Art Science Museum

Xiao Yu came to Singapore from London, on the way back to his hometown Chong Qing so I brought him around for one day on Saturday. We went to Ion for lunch, and then to Don Don Donki where he was so amazed coz there were so many Japanese food and he felt like he was in Japan lol. And then we wanted to go Haji Lane but it was raining so we went to Art Science Museum instead for Teamlabs.

I haven't been there and I have been wanted to go there to take pretentious photos hahaha. And indeed we took so so so many nice photos.

Level 33 for dinner, the food was just meh and that's it for the day. It was so fun but so tiring we walked the whole day until some plastics from my Prada sneakers came off -_-.

Also he bought me the pineapple gin from London woot woot!

CNY 2022

No Port Dickson again this year, because of you know... Covid. But the good thing is, angbao is gonna be more hahaha. The eve of CNY I booked my third booster shot, went down to the community center for the shot and within 15mins I'm on my way to my aunt's place for reunion lunch.

My stomach exploded. Too many things to eat. And after that went upstairs to play with the kids until I was tired and got back home in the afternoon. Nothing much for the day.

First day of CNY, we had steamboat with all the seafood at home, and went over to play with the kids again. I build a Lego Frozen castle for the kids lol so torturous. Second day I went out to visit Soon and Weiling but she wasn't at home and the whole city area was a ghost town. 

Well nothing exciting for this year's CNY, just that I have to avoid prawns for some time coz my face is itching from all those good food. Urgh prawn allergy.
