carrot cake

oh no i'm not proud of myself being addicted to online everyday... argh i'm starting to tok like woon i should stop. ya. ok stop.

ok so we went overseas today!!! yay!! further details will be entered once the phtooes r uploaded. haha.

and i baked the carrot cake yesterday!! and today i took some for them to try.. all of them said not bad... but it's not a 'not bad' la.. it's a very nice. yay.

with the cream cheese frosting it'll b superb already. can sell. but too bad the whole spore's cream cheese r sold out. as proven by songern and me. so cannot make the frosting. and i'm serious about the whole spore sold out thingy.

aiya! i forgot to take photo of the cake and the process. nvm this is becoming a baking blog. and next up it's kitchen hummingbird cake. it's a coconut + pineapple + banana cake. hm... almost like a fruit cake but it's more high class la. and songern said my carrot cake taste like fruit cake. hm..... but this one should b different ba.

well... no jobs i can onli bake cake at home coz i seriously got not much stuff to do except to make good cakes so dat i dun hafta go out to those cake cafe to eat nice cakes when i can bake myself. i really love to eat cakes! but i can't seem to find good blackforest cake reciepe leh.. blackforest and carrot cake are 2 of my fav. cakes... nvm shall continue searching.

nxt time i can sell my cakes as part time income la. hahahaXx.. but first must perfect the skill first. actually quite cheap 1 cake is like around $7 the cost price.

occupying time

my body clock is distorted.

everyday i'll go to bed at 2am and can't sleep until 3+... then wake up when my parents wake up at 7+am.. then flip here and there on bed then sleep until 11+am then officially wake up.

argh i really need to find a job to fix my body clock and earn some income and occupy my time!!! i can't do nothing and become a heath ledger!!!!

i finished my code geass anime on youtube and crunchyroll... i've got nothing to watch! hm.. mayb i should start on a new anime...

my W890i is out already!!!!! yay i'm gonna get it soon!! changing hp!!

and i'm gonna try baking other cakes... coz i borrowed some cake baking book and searched some carrot cake reciepe online. haha.. tml i'm gonna go buy the ingredients and bake on thurs!!

springfield n shokudo

the story of springfield sale:

one afternoon ms choy siew woon woke up late and missed everything so she might as well go to cityhall to shop for a while, while waiting for her friends to meet at 2pm at city hall. so she reached at 1.30 and went to springfield to shop. and she found there's almost 70% everywhere in the shop!! b4 dat she was eyeing a shoe that she liked and it was at 70% discount! so she quickly bot it. she left the shop coz she's meeting song ern.

then while walking to the mrt, outside the shop guess, she saw songern and she told him excitedly dat springfield got 70% sale! and songern wanted to go in and shop too. so they went to the shop together.. and she said hi to the sales lady who attended to her again. and then songern bot a long sleeve shirt from there. they left the shop coz they were meeting ernest.

then while walking to the mrt, outside guess, they saw ernest and told him excitedly dat springfield got 70% sale! and ernest wanted to go in and shop too. so they went to the shop together.. and they said hi to the sales lady who attended to them 2 times already. and they saw this super nice trench coat jacket which is on 50% off!! it's actually $199 but discounted become $99.50. and he dunno if he wans to buy coz he dun think he'll be wearing it thou. but it's really nice. nevermind, they left the shop coz they were meeting pearlyn.

then while walking to the mrt, outside guess again, they saw pearlyn AGAIN and told her excitedly dat springfield got 70% sale! and pearlyn wanted to go in and shop too. this is the 4th time this is happening. BUT they need to get chocolates for sida. so they din go into the shop in the end.

after lunch at shokudo, they went to springfield again coz sida and pearlyn wanted to shop there. they said hi to the sales lady the 4th time. they bot stuff there again, i forgot what. then they left the shop.

then while walking to the mrt, outside guess again, they saw jaslyn and her fren and told her excitedly dat springfield got 70% sale! and jas wanted to go in and shop too. BUT good thing we never went in the 5th time. so embarassing the sales lady saw them like 4 times already, each time bringing another friend in. hahaXx.

the story of shokudo:

we celebrated sida's 21st bdae there.

we had.......
1 jap curry rice
1 jap rice with chicken
1 tomato rice in omelette and hamburger steak
1 jap fish roe pasta
1 salmon wasabi burger
3 pizzas
1 tofu cheesecake
1 green tea ice dessert

it's like a jap version of marche.. and super lots of varieties u can't even decide which to choose from! there's teriyaki.. teppanyaki.. burger... ramen.. soba.. sushi.. dessert..mochi.. cold salad.. pasta pizza.. oh and rosti too. super lots of things. and it really feels like dining in a restaurant in japan coz all the deco and stuff!

but the staff are quite new so a bit inexperienced and the china people can't understand english which is quite bad. overall the food was OKAY not too bad... but i love the cheesecake and the ice dessert. main course wise i'd prefer waraku thou. hahahahaXx. no jap pasta and pizza can beat waraku. but for the variety yeah it's really a lot. and so far i haven tried everything yet.

but it's quite a creative concept coz there's so much jap food and it's really nice to eat all at one place. same concept as marche. mayb next time i should open one with asian cusine. an asian marche. sell all the asian food.. like char kueh teow.. hokkien mee.. ba chor mee.. chicken cutlet.. oyster meesua frm taiwan.. mango dessert and those toasts from hongkong.. kimchi from korea.. green curry from thailand.. all dat. haha great idea. BUT different from the rest.. i serve free flow ice water!! hahaXx

internet addiction

i must confess... i'm really addicted to the internet.

everyday i must go online.. if i dun i'll feel very weird like something's missing... and when i watch tv my eyes will shift to the computer then i'll walk over and juz switch on the modem and wala.. i'm online.

i really need to kick this internet addiction.

btw i'm really very relieved i'm not in the organisation anymore!!! phew.. i feel so free... do wadever i wan... sleep and eat whenever i wan to... no one to bother me.. no one to disturb me at home coz everyone's working. weee. and now i'm concentrating on my driving..

wah super angry my last lesson the stupid instructor was supposed to pass mi this subject so i can start stage 4 juz now. then he never shade for mi! wah lao super angry. waste my time and money i need to book another lesson for $59. idiotic part-time instructor. the next time i see him i'll really scold him.

yesterday celebrate sida's bdae at shodoku.. will post later or something. dinner time!

borrow books

yesterday i juz went to the national library.. and borrowed some comics. wah they bot marvel's civil war already!!! i was so looking forward to reading the civil war series when i read 2 of them when eman brought to camp!! yayyyyy. i'm gonna visit there often.

and i borrowed one baking book to occupy my time next wk also.. try baking more stuff rather than my cake. haha dun wanna waste the microwave oven also. then went city hall and bot cindy's shoes. oh she called mi dat morning b4 i went to buy. hahahXx..

and i'm quite successful in my money saving plans.. haven been spurging thou i keep looking at the hilfiger polo tee which is quite nice and i dun haf a blue stripped polo tee and it really fits well on me...... BUTTTTTTTTTT i shall not fall into temptation.

i'm currently looking for a high paying job!!!! anyone has lobang??

dat nite went to ah ma hse to help her with the CNY chu jiu bai bai. it's been long since i've strolled in the dark and cooling nite... quite shuang like what sida always do. anyway think it's the first time in years i helped in the bai bai... quite interesting to c the whole ritual. hahaXx.. very traditional but dunno y ah ma nv burn the sugarcane.

i help in burning all the stuff... and a lot of people were burning along the roadside too!! and the lifts there got ad saying 'do not burn along coridoors. please use the bin provided' but nobody used the bins.

then went home at around 1.30am juz rite for my sleeping time. yeah.

CJ7

so much about the hype for stephen chow's new movie.

ehhh... what should i say.. i think his past movies are better. i prefer kung fu hustle and i noe last time there's shi shen which is super farnie. about the meatballs bouncing one. ok anyway CJ7 i find it quite ok la. a bit of turn off parts are where the scenes are super kua zhang the typical stephen chow show la. but still it's a bit farnie la. i still can remember most of the scenes thou..

and JCO donuts are open in city hall!!!! yay!! and it serves nice coffee too!! woohoo!! it's another place to haf a good teabreak.

we searched for sida's present and i finally bot carrie's new cd. haXx.. and saw super nice tommy hilfiger poloshirt and i'm quite proud of myself for resisting the temptation to buy it. so i din buy in the end. yay. oh and i still can't find my wallet.... either they haf coinpouch but bifold.. or they'r trifold but w/o coin pouch. guess i can't haf a wallet w/o a coin pouch.

the next day really bot sida's present with liujun.. then looked at watches also. haiXx.. haven buy yet. cindy haven help mi look also!!!!

finally i find out wad's so nice about ck stuff. it's the simplicity and the style. simple and yet classic and stylish.. classic stuff never goes out of fashion. like burberry too! hahaXx the checkered style. so this concludes my 2 favourite brands: ck and burberry. yay. hope they have cheaper ck watch at america. cindy help mi buy!

money saving plans

i really do lack something important called money.

well nobody would say dat oh they haf too much money. duh.

good thing there's such festive season called CNY, and i'm still a teenager, i will still receive angpows!! yay. but it's really not enuff la. hahahXx....

therefore...... here r my money saving plans:

1. No more spending on other stuff after buying wallet and handphone and birkenstock. and mayb watch. (all of that adds up to a lot already.)

2. No more buying of clothes until march. after march, onli one per month.
(*unless it's really worth it or unless it's really really nice. hahaha.)

3. Quickly find a high paying job!! and work very very very very hard!! and make sure the pay is high. dun care how bz it will get.

4. Save save save save save. bring my own lunch or something. no fancy restaurants unless it's a gathering.

5. Stay at home as far as possible. if bored watch anime.

CNY!

ok my phone wun work on my com i hope somebody can solve this problem for mi. i can't upload the pics and videos. nvm i shall post first then upload next time.

sooooo chu xi i got my ic, and ord, (yayness) then went ah ma hse to eat.. then around 2pm then set off to Port Dickson!! and the custom got jam!!!! not onli the spore one.. the m'sia one even worse. jam 1 hr... juz wait there lor...

then it's a 3 hr drive to there.... sometimes i desperately hope dat i have a PSP in my hand i can play during the whole journey. haiXx... psp. anyway reached there at around 7pm... directly went for dinner! and dun really haf the CNY mood coz there's no fire crackers at all... no loud sounds.. and there's no long red firecracker at midnite!!! arh!!!!! first time it doesn't feel like CNY at popo hse.

sooo din really do much... and then slept at nite... woke up... no more breakfast.. did nothing juz slacking around... eating mandarin oranges and lots of them... haha the seed can anyhow spit around one... hahaXx..

i used to love this kinda relaxed life in the wilds.. but army made mi hate outfield very much.. so i felt quite uncomfortable this time round coz it felt like outfield. -_- stupid. nothing to do... nothing to play.. coz at this age it's really hard to find thing to entertain urself.. and no firecrackers somemore!!! even worse. so went around collecting ang pows and watch the gambling den also.

thennn at nite coz my cousin's son wanna go back his hse.. and he's scared of the dark. so hafta go back with him and stayed at his house while other cousins played at his house. he has 6 computers. -_- and they'r crazy about this 3D online game called wan mei shi jie.. the game is so simple.. the graphics are lousy.. the characters are stupid. it's 1000x worse than 2D maplestory. dun understand why they dun wanna play maple. and my cousin-in-law still say this game is one of the best online game. please la i dun even hear anyone playing in lan shops or in spore.

oh oh oh my cousin's daughter is in sec 1 now then she told mi some farnie lame jokes. hahaXx..

Question: there's this 7-11 convenient store which dun allow pets inside.. one dog went in.. and the shop keeper chased it out by hitting it with a stick.. another cat went in and the shop keeper chased it out by hitting it with a stick. one goat went in and the shop keeper did nothing. why?

a friend told john how to get more pocket money by telling his parents something. so john went to try out on his father. he secretly told dad "dad i know what u did last nite. hee hee" then his dad quickly gave him $100 and said " shhhhhh dun tell anybody ok?" then john went to his mum and secretly said " mum i know what u did last nite. hee hee" his mum quickly gave him $100 and said "shhhhhhh dun tell anybody ok?" John wanted to get more money. then the postman came and he told the postman "postman i know what u did last nite. hee hee" then the postman shouted "OH U FOUND OUT? Now u know i'm ur father, come give me a hug!!!"

ok anyway quite farnie la but i think somebody told mi b4 already but the way she said was super farnie. there's one diry joke but dun type out better la. okkk then i saw watching all of them playing the com which is sooooooo boring so i decided to sleep. and slept until the next day.

woke up.. walk back to popo hse and slept even more.. woke up for lunch.. ate oranges... and felt a bit bored. so went down to da yi's hse to watch some TV.

then my closest cousin woke up.. and there's some relative wana go to the beach.. and i never went to port dickson beach b4.... so ok go... turns out wahhhhhh LOADS of people. really. and there's super lot of beach activities... got the banana boat.. the speedboat.. all dat la.. we walked from one end to another.. then finally some of them shop finish.. and went back. oh we walked the pasar malam also. back, celebrated my popo's bdae... had quite a party coz a lot of things to eat.

and intended to go home the next day.. but my dad got a call and he needs to work the next day so we had to leave. argh. oh good thing i saved 1 or 2 of the firecrackers.... and i took video too. and i caught a spider and a cricket in a cigarette box but i gave them to my cousin la.. dun wanna bring back.

so at nite..... 3hr ride... was desperate for a PSP again... nevertheless haix.. ok back to spore at around midnite. hope for more angpows in spore!!! this year wasn't really exciting for me... last year was more exciting. u can c the video i posted last year la. haha juz go youtube type ernie's big fireworks. hahaXx..

hi peeps i'm back from M'sia!!

as usual went to port dickson for family reunion once a year but this year's new year a bit boring... coz the police r quite strict about the fire crackers this year.... soooo there's pathetically little fire crackers this year. haiXx... dun really haf the cny mood.. unlike every year.

anyway will elaborate more and post some pics and videos in the next post.. i'm still trying to upload my pics from my phone... and stupid nokia pc suite can't detect my phone while my com can. i dunno why like dat. last time can one.... argh. can someone help mi in this?

hi i'm updating regularly now coz i really dun haf much things to do at home.. i haven packed my presents yet. speaking of presents i juz went out with huiting today to change my shirt coz i dun really like the design of the shirt they chose for mi. ahhaXx sori a bit mafan. and went around shopping for HER fren's present and ended in LJS to dine... oh i wana say i veryyyyy long nv see her already nv really got to tok to her in the party too... hahaaXx.. and we really must go kbox soon.. right huiyu? btw her presnt how? part 1 is still with mi. hahaXx

oh yah and my wallet is really cui. i need a wallet real soon. oh yah america. mayb i should get it in america it might b cheaper. nvm i shall go scouting soon.

i miss starbucks coffee... thou i long time nv crave for it... and i dun really crave for it now. but i miss juz drinking it. hahah and the last time i stepped into starbucks was at paragon on my bdae. and we din buy anything to drink coz we juz wanna rest our legs.

juz caught up with one of my best army frens, who's doing pilot in Perth... poor thing he can't come back for CNY.. and he's coming back on jun/july which is damn long away. really poor thing. and cindy and yuru too. well i miss toking to them. why all the people i wanna tok to are all overseassssss.... haaaiix. and the local people are bzzzz......

back from joseph's bdae at dbl o or o bar they call it.. first time went there coz safra members are free and my safra card is gonna expire real soon! and give face to joseph too coz i dun really like to go clubbing la.. except mayb mambo. hahahXx... and it's becoming better coz of the no-smoking-in-aircond-places rule. yeah no more smoke.

oh i saw yiyong!! he's my cousin.. with his frens and lotsa frens like his fren's fren, his fren's colleague.. all dat.. very complicated. ahhahaXx.. yeah but ok got drink a bit but not drunk la.. and at nite took night rider home.

and px and agnes treat me to dinner at angus house.. it's really looks like a high class rest. at taka but actually the prices r ok for the spagetti. i ate the salmon roe with scallop.. and the salmon roe has quite a bit of fishy smell.. if knew i ate the pollack roe already.. the one agnes ate. anyway the tiramisu is extremely good. it's probably one of the best tiramisu i ate.. and it's won some award too.

so exciting i'm gonna collect my ck spects later in the evening!! hahahXx.. and i paid for it myself la. my mum's gonna nag for buying so ex spects. her definition of cheap is cheaper than the previous spects. but spects dun get cheaper and cheaper thou. i'm still wondering if i should make my contacts now or later after cny. haha mayb got post cny promotion.

i love to watch gossip girls.. it's really super nice u can see all the high class youth people all the spoilt brats in new york.. how their lifes are.. wad kinda clothes they wear wad activities they do.. it's really a good show. and u get to see lotsa pretty girls and all the bitchy things they do. haha it's really super farnie sometimes. really go n watch gossip girls.

alright my dear fashion consultants... i've decided and bot the CK one already and i'm gonna get it b4 cny. hahahXx... i really liked both... and they'r both the same price...

last time i used to haf a rimless one already.. and the rodenstock's a bit loose fitting coz of the transparent plastic... but the design is really nice and won some design award also. butttttt nevertheless i still adore the classic look and i love how the ck juz fits into my face nicely. i would really love both of them.

anyway it's like one week after already... the balloons are still up in my hse.. presents still there.. and LOTSA chocolates already.. all alcoholic. (i have a lot of alcoholic frens) 2 red plain polo tees too.

i've to really thank jc and ck for helping mi out in my bdae and the cake... and everything. hahaXx... and we juz went m'sia to shop a bit. i bot a junkfood tee.. jc bot ralph lauren.. ck bot local celebrity.

and ate botak jones. haha first time i ate it.... it's OKAY la.. ok lor like dat lor. nothing really special about it la. mayb the onli special thing is dat u have to wati 20-30 mins for ur food... regardless of there's people or no people. hahax.

had driving lessons also... autocar and now i'm quite confident to drive already! yay. actually i'm quite confident to drive quite long ago. juz dat no car to drive. and haven pass the test yet.

oh and the cny mood is coming to my house. u can feel it through boxes of mandarine orange.... bak gua... those xiang gu and all the chinese delicacies.. pineapple tarts also... and the balloons and the red polo tees. and i can feel angpow coming. but in ringgit. sads. huiting our cny the angpow always very lousy leh.
