nic training disaster

I knew I was going to meet Nic during training today and I was running through my mind what to say when I meet him.

During break time I was walking towards him with my coffee in hand and he was seated, working on his laptop. He looked up, saw me and "yo". I smiled at him and whisper something into his ears to tease him and he immediately said NO and stared at me. I was amused at his seriousness and immediate reaction and laughed and said just kidding!!!

I think he felt so awkward and I felt awkward after that and he went back to his office and stayed there, even until the training ended he didn't come out at all.

LOL such a disaster. I think he's going to block me and is probably annoyed. I blew my only chance at reconnecting with him again lol.

stop excuses for friends

I think we should stop giving excuses to friends who don't really care about you, except when they need you or they are just not appreciative, even if they are really cute or pretty or handsome, it doesn't give them the right to take advantage of you like that, or expect you to do things for them.

Although one might be awkward and not used to expressing feelings aloud, one should at least show some appreciation for friends who helped or assisted them in certain ways.

I think this is very basic human courtesy.

liquid b disaster

Last Friday was a disaster. I totally hate how bad liquor messes up you and hangover the next day.

All I could remember: after 5-6 drinks at the club we went out, Domi smoked and we went over to the bars to play darts. Bob didn't want to stay at the second floor so we went to the first floor, and I was there coz I didn't want to play, and then I went up to the second floor toilet to pee. Samuel saw me, then Domi and Bob came up and saw me, then Sam and I went down, Sam went back, I went to get ice water, came back, Bob puked on the way to the toilet and he stayed there, I had to go in to get him out when they were chasing us to close the bar, we went to Domi's office to pee and sent Bob back, Domi accidentally touched the grab driver and she kinda freaked lol and we went home.

It was a disaster. I couldn't remember most of the things I was doing and Bob was like sleepy and grumpy and Domi was the most rationale person omg.

Crispy Pork

I was curious about people making Sio Bak aka crispy pork so I went online to find the recipe and I suddenly realised it's so easy to make. And my thai friends are so obsessed with crispy pork and I prepared all the stuff, mum bought $15 worth of pork belly, I marinated the pork overnight from Friday night till Saturday, popped it into the oven and TADAH...

My family and I were so amazed it turned out so well, so I broke my hiatus in IG and posted it. I challenged M to make this and Tao being the "always want a leg in things" also texted me. -_-

I love how the skin is super crispy and not like the ones we buy in the market. When it's freshly grilled it's super awesome and oily and it makes the whole oven filled with oil LOL. I can't wait to grill my next crispy pork.

lunch level up

Ok so I was bringing salad and steamed chicken breast for lunch previously and I got sick of eating cold food during lunch so I decided to level up.

So pasta, pork chops/hamburger steak, broccoli, carrots, potato, asparagus, egg and tomato. And sometimes fish roe. I usually get angel hair pasta coz it's what Wesley said - Ang Moh mee sua, and it's easier to cook. Usually my mum will steam everything together with dinner and just make it so I don't have to do anything except to grill the hamburger steak.

Hamburger steak is 2 for $7.60 at NTUC but recently I went to Donki and there's this wagyu hamburger 2 for $10, which tastes really really good omg. The 2 patties are big enough to split into 3,  I can't believe I could have Japanese hamburger for lunch for 3 days haha. It's well seasoned with Japanese sauces and there's a mix of meat so the texture's really great.

I hope my fat percentage will reduce after 1 month of this.

4 day holiday

Honestly I have no idea why time past so fast in these 4 days and I don't really know what I did.

I know on Thursday I went to pick up stuff from Becky's, and went to hang out and pick up Domi at the bars.
Friday I posted stuff on Carousell, shopped in Carousell and sealed a few deals and watched Preacher.
Saturday I went to the gym, orchard, yishun, woodlands library and also sold some stuff and was contemplating if I should go out n drink but watched Evangelion instead.
Sunday I went to the gym, sold some stuff, planned my next overseas trip and was contemplating if I should go out and drink but watched Aladdin instead.
Monday I went out for brunch with the choir gang at Dempsey, shopping at orchard, dinner at home and bought some stuff on Carousell.

Ok it seems that I was always on Carousell and contemplating if I should drink but watched TV instead LOL. I haven't drank since Bangkok and keeping it that way. And Carousell is my new social media. And I've been trying to get my hands off my phone repeatedly again.

I think I'm addicted to online shopping please send help.

Farewell Becky

Last Wednesday we celebrated YH and Becky's birthday early, because Becky has a packed schedule in August.

It's really amazing how the 4 of us managed to keep meeting up, even after our Jap class which ended 2 years ago. We ate at Koh Sushi and adjourned to our favourite cake place: PS café. Hahaha it seems like we will end up there every time to eat cakes and sing the birthday song. SJ has proposed to his gf and is getting married, YH still the same, Becky is going to US for 5 years and I changed job.

Becky has been a really good friend, albeit sometimes excessive information giving. I helped her sell all her books on Carousell and also earned a bit of income from there. In total we managed to earn $1162 from selling all her stuff, and that's not the end of it. I still have 3 more stacks of books in my room. She always offers to buy me stuff from Vietnam whenever she returns and also gin from the US when she was there. I hope she does well in her PHD in US, I know she will coz she's the over prepared type.
I'm so glad for this bunch of really good, normal friends, they keeps me sane and sorted.
