Open house weekend 2

I came back on Thursday for some cleaning and finished setting up my Ikea Pax wardrobe. 

I really regret not paying $70 for the assembly coz I took 2 days and the door handles need to drill... -_- Anyway I was really happy to complete it, the neighbour asked me over to eat dinner but I was too embarassed so I rejected and ate with Jessie instead. It was a weekday night and there's nothing much happening.

Friday was still a work day but I went down to collect my flush plate, then Vic and Dom came over. We had chin chin, they bought a bottle of white and some gelato, oh and a bottle of Aesop handwash. Really glad coz I was actually going to buy one hahaha. Looks like I shouldn't buy anything and let friends just buy for me. We ended the night early.

Saturday I thought it was time to make the Micke desk.

It only took me 2 hours and I am happy with the end results. It was quite easy and perfect, unlike the big sized wardrobe.

It was drinking gang's night and the first time I saw them this year. We went to eat Honbo and we opened so many bottles. First was the prosecco, then Kinobi, Ginstr and Cacao gin. Jarren only likes the Kinobi lol. We finished so many snacks and my carton of soda water, and it was 5am -_- The latest I stayed this year. I cannot do this anymore.

They bought me dinner, Ed bought me a pair of double walled glass and the rest shared Aesop. So now I have a few bottles of Aesop handwash and a body wash. 

Thanks guys. Hangover on Sunday wasn't fun and I was having headache until the evening urgh.

Open house weekend 1

15th September 

First person who rolled the pineapple in the house was me. I also said hi to my neighbour who was an old couple and they invited me to tea in their house lol.

Kat and gang came over for dinner and drinks on Saturday and I opened some of my rare gins for the first time and they were delightful as expected. Ok maybe except the Hojicha gin. First time I saw Ele and Hans and we were talking like old friends already lol. I opened a bottle of prosecoo, a sake, an earl grey gin and the hojicha gin. They bought food, a plant, a bottle of wine, and Kat bought lots of Muji stuff for me.. I think about $200? lol. Anyway really nice house warming party and I slept at 2am.

Sunday the whole fam came, I bought food from downstairs and ordered pizza and it was really enough for them. In addition, I bought 5 tubs of gelato and a Raffles Hotel mooncake. They gave me 2 angbaos, 1 choya and 2 ports. They really love my cup washer and toilet lol. I guess those are the 2 main attractions in the house. 

Hwee came last and drove me back haha

Open House

I am very excited for this weekend. 

It is the end of 7th month of the Lunar calendar, and I am moving in to my new place and I am having 2 parties. 1 with Kat and friends, another with family. My current place looks really empty right now, I'm just staying in for the weekend and rolling pineapple, weekdays will be at my parent's place because there are so many things that my new place lack right now. And my working PC and TV is still here, my gym membership is still here so I'm probably going to stay here until October.

tiring weekends

Every weekend I've been going over to City hall to do a lot of manual labour I'm so tired.

Most times I'm Bob the builder

sometimes I'm Maria the cleaner

sometimes I'm a salesman, a delivery guy, a garbage collector etc.
