so far so good week

Life have been good so far.

Work, visit grandma, swimming nights, gym, fish soups.

I'm feeling so tired at night after my swims but I feel my body getting better, like a lot of the muscles are stretching and waking up.

Planning for holiday last minute is a bitch. Not on the accommodation, but the flights are always too expensive. I should probably plan ahead.

My cash flow's a little bit tight after I paid for my insurance and I'm considering if I should really take up the plan. My savings are depleting. I don't know if it's for this year only because I don't have extra savings to cover my travel expenses. SIGHS. My gymnastics class on hold because I don't have enough cash. Where do I get money.

2am

2am is the time I reached home for the past few days.

First it was Sugarhall's 1st Anniversay on 8 May.

Then it was a Faith reunion with Jiam and Teik last Friday. We ate Japanese steamboat buffet before heading down to Sugarhall for drinks.

Then it was Huiting's housewarming on Saturday! No prizes for guessing who cooked dinner.
It was perfect.

Crispy Salmon, pan seared scallops, bacon whipped potato, sundried cherry tomatoes and baby asparagus.

And it has been a long time since I played mahjong! So looking forward to the next session. Hehe.

Kuala Lumpur

I visit Malaysia quite often but I have only been to JB, Port Dickson, Cameron Highlands for 1/2 a day and Malacca. This was my first trip to KL, the capital of M'sia on Labour day. Heh.

We booked the bus ticket and hotel 2 days before the trip because we couldn't decide where to go and I realised it was actually quite cheap!

8 hours later after enduring the jam we checked into the Times Square hotel and found out that we were upgraded into a suite/serviced apartment! Woohoo! And we couldn't find a bus ticket back on Sunday so we took the last bus on Saturday, which was pretty ok, considering the price but we had to forfeit one day of our suite night.

Claypot Bee Tai Bak and Char Siew Mee at Chinatown. This is so damn good.

 Jalan ALor
 Drinking from a Mexican Bar
We only had to go to the Hutong foodcourt at Lot 10 to eat everything. The food was a little expensive but seriously out-of-the-world good.

Finally had Kyochon Chicken at KL
 Nutella Banana MC

Sesame Shaved Ice
The mandatory shot of Petronas Twin Tower to prove that I went to KL

It's almost like Bangkok! Really good food, cheap shopping (if you know where to find) and cheap hotel. Once a year is enough.

Now to plan my next trip.......
