Foot swollen

I have no idea why or how it happened, my foot got inflamed again -_-
I suspected it was because I walked too much in Tokyo, then CNY, then I started training on the treadmill in gym, then suddenly one day it became swollen and I cannot walk properly -_-

Luckily I didn't have much to do at work so I worked from home for a week and completed my Lego Bonsai.
It looks really cool, especially it's Sakura period now so I changed the leaves to pink. Anyway I limped to CCK for dinner and my aunt actually gave me some mint leaves because she said it's a remedy for inflamation.
I brought home, crushed the mint leaves and spread on the swollen part for an hour.

The next day I could actually walk properly and it was no longer in pain! Magic! She said the leaves helped to disperse the blood clots or something. I did it for 1 more night and it sorta healed within 3 days. I gotta admit, this was much faster than last time.

I got a stalk of mint leaves to plant at home... just in case this happens again.

Days pass by cooking laksa pasta

11 days after Eras Tour my head is still singing Taylor swift's songs -_- I just watched the movie and it is still as good omg. Best Concert Ever. Period.

Days have been passing by quickly. For me all I'm doing now is waiting for my salary to come in so I can have enough to buy the things I want. I have to wait for my bonus to come in in June, pay off my renovation debt, then I can buy my bag and sneakers. Last week I just saw somebody posted the lowest price for the bag that I want, but I'm still so cash strapped so I had to let it go.
Sigh. I'm becoming this eat-bread-to-buy-bag kinda bitch.

I'm loving the cold storage below my office. They always have 50% discount off food or fresh meat when they are expiring so I would snatch them all up. I cooked laksa pasta with the fresh meat.
The prawns were so crunchy and flavourful omg. I need vemicular pot and pans to cook urgh but I need to buy them in Japan.

Taylor Swift Eras Tour

Zac decided to sell me a pair of his tickets so I already knew I have a seat at the concert haha but I can't decide who to go with because there were so many people queueing for the tickets. It was originally Oli, Eric, Kat or Stan, but Oli no more, Eric got his own ticket so it's Kat.

I became a Swiftie after I attended her Reputation tour in London and it was amazing. I also loved her new albums so I really wanted to go. Really grateful to Zac for the Cat 2 tickets.

It seemed like the whole Asia is in Singapore this week, tourist everywhere and even MBS is lit up in TS colours. All the Chinese, Indo, Philippino and Thai tourists flew to SG just for the concert and everywhere is crowded.
I wore my Kitsune tshirt which was in Lover colours, my shoes were Lover colours and blue shorts with seagulls were 1989. Neab also gave me a Midnight bracelet haha.

The opening was Ms Americana, which was so good and we were almost brought to tears because we can't believe we got to see Taylor live. I get to see her live again OMG.
Seriously best concert ever. It was so good to see her perform although it was super humid and she was sweating haha. London weather would be better. Her song in live were so good, she did All Too Well in 10mins omg. For her surprise song she did sparks fly + gold rush and false god + slut. She also changed the Karma lyrics to Karma is the guy on the chiefs.

After the concert she immediately came out and hug her boyfriend Kelce Travis who fly there the night before. It was so so so good I am having serious withdrawals I want to watch again and again.
We had food stand burgers and Kat drove me back after. The day after I watched the documentary Ms Americana and became even a bigger fan -_-

Angus and Neab in Sg

Thursday 29 Feb was exactly 1 month after our flight to Tokyo in the morning. Angus came over Singapore again from Chong Qing because Neab was also coming over -_-

I was waiting for him in the afternoon and suddenly I had full on diarrhea after he arrived, I was sitting on the toilet bowl every 30mins and everything just came out as liquid, even the water I drank. It was like Bangkok last year again, but I just can't figure out what I ate wrong. We had the pork leg rice nearby, bought fruits, walked around and went back.

The next morning I realised there was a panel clinic downstairs, went to get some meds and we headed out for ba chor mee lunch and boost at Bugis while waiting for Neab to arrive at 5pm. The weather was crazy humid and hot so we switch on the AC. He and Ben came, settled in, we went to MBS to see the Taylor Swift trail, Angus just bought a $580 watch without batting his eyelid lol.

We went back, Angus went for dinner with Trex. Dinner with Zac and Jessie at Chin Chin, then Zac came over for the first time for drinks and we watched Dune Part 1 halfway while waiting for Angus to come back. We slept at 3am haha. I was feeling much better with the pills that the doctor gave, I think I will keep them for future use.

Neab and Ben went out in the next day morning while we slowly made our way to eat lao wang, Angus went back to work while we went to meet Neab at Orchard for hotel architecture haha. We had tea at PS cafe, then went to Lido to meet Eric for Dune.

I regret not watching Dune 1 in Imax so I booked Imax this time for Dune 2 and it was amazing. I love love love the movie it was so good. Everyone said the second part was better and easier to understand than the first. No regrets with Imax but we need to wait 3 more years for Dune 3 -_-.
Dinner at Shake Shack, then we went to hit the bars. I think this was the only pic we took this trip lol.
Domi came back from Netherlands and finally met him after 6 months. Neab said the last time he met Domi was also right before he flew lol. We went to another bar but the music sucks and drained all our mood so we headed home early.

The next day Neab left for his hotel, I brought Angus to eat YTF and he said it was good lol. He went out with Trex while I rested at home, reading book and my neighbor gave me ba chor mee. I went to get some groceries and ate Mos curry burger which was quite good. Angus came back after a while and cried a bit lol. I sent him on his grab to the airport and he flew back to Tokyo.

Monday I went to the gym, worked a bit, Neab came back and we went to eat Tendon at Suntec, walked to Victoria Concert hall to Bar Astoria, had a drink, came back to watch Poor things and drank,

Tuesday I brought them to Kafe Utu which was African cuisine. It was the first time for all of us, everything was spicy and tasted a little like Indian food.
After that was Birds of Paradise, I went back home while they walked around. He came back, checked out to the airport.

It was a good catch up and not as tiring as I thought. They were super easy to host since we were so comfortable with each other already. I guess both of them won't be coming back here soon enough since there's limited things that we could do here lol.

February CNY celebrations

We had CNY celebrations in the office, lou hei and buffet lunch. Everyone went back with a box of cute macarons.
As usual when everyone is office there's no seats so I just went there for the lunch and came back in the afternoon. Oh and I got angbao from my team leader, my boss and my colleague. So nice!

For dinner we went to Xiao Long Kan, the first time I had this spicy hotpot in Singapore and it is quite pricey tho. The food was okok, I'm kinda addicted to spicy hotpot lol.
The next day the choir peeps came over for CNY, I bought food from Chin Chin and we watched the dragon drone show again. Caleb was super funny as usual.
Sida will be going Taiwan until end of the year, the topics we talked about includes how to use air fryer, water dispenser, which chicken nuggets are the best etc. Omg adulting.

2024 Chinese New Year

When I was in Japan my mum texted me saying that they are heading back to Port Dickson and I was like so early?! So after I came back to SG I had 1 full day before deciding whether I want to go to Port Dickson or not, eventually I texted my cousins and they said they won't be going back, just a dinner at JB.

Friday we met at Kranji MRT, clearing the customs and crossing the causeway was surprisingly fast. They had a special bus lane and crossing the Msia customs took about 10-15mins. Within 2 hours his twin came to pick us up for lunch. We ate at a bad Japanese restaurant lol, then went shopping. I bought some stuff from Daiso since the Daiso there was cheaper than SG, considering exchange rate.

Then dinner time at my uncle's place. It was a feast as usual but without my mum's seafood soup.
My cousins also took out the fireworks lol everywhere was lighting up. I decided not to stay over so I asked the twins to send me back to the customs and I took the last 170 bus back.

First day of CNY I did laundry, went to Si Kor's place for lunch and met Jessie, got some plants and back home, then to Stanley's place for dinner and to bai nian. His sister drove us back home and her bf was so impressed with my house haha. Dining was very limited coz most places were closed during CNY.

Second day we had lunch, then went to MBS to shop for card holder. I really like the new Dior and LV sneakers collection urge. Evening time Jessie asked me to go over for dinner and yu sheng, then we saw the dragon drone show which was quite nice.

2024 Tokyo Day 7

Although we slept late we woke up around 9-ish 10am because we wanted to go to Azabudai Hills for an architecture tour. Breakfast at Mc Donalds, then we took metro there. It was quite amazing the architecture and interior design - and Neab said they went really over the top. Each tile and wall had to be custom made, every wall on different levels had different designs. It was quite a sight how Japanese design are so detailed. It must have costed a lot. Most shops weren't open because the building aint' ready. It should be ready by end of this year.
I booked Manten omakase sushi for lunch at 1pm, so we headed there. Lunch was still good, but I preferred counter seats. After that it was shopping time at Ginza! Uniqlo, Dover Street, Ginza Six, Liquor mountain for my alcohol hehe.
Then we went to Isetan Shinjuku for more shopping - it was really quite amazing they have almost every of our favourite brands there. Angus brought us to Gyukatsu place for dinner and it was really quite good - now it's one of my listed place to eat.
Then it's Toriki time again haha. Neab's and my favourite izakaya. Then we went to Eagle to meet Angus, and back to hotel.

2024 Tokyo Day 8, 9, 10

We were meeting Neab's Korean friend at Mori museum for the Kit Harring exhibtion, then it started snowing in Tokyo.
He treated us lunch at a really good unagi restaurant, then we treated him cakes at Harbs haha. It was a really satisfying meal with all the cakes and coffee at the end. He was telling us about working in a hotel in Tokyo.

By then it was snowing heavily, we went to 21 21 for another exhibition about illustration and graphics, like Noritake. The exhibition gallery was designed by Tadao Ando so all concrete.
We headed back to Shinjuku for Hermes and more shopping. Everywhere was so wet and slippery so we bought an umbrella. I bought all my Matsuki stuff, dinner at some mediocre tempura place. I wanted to buy a pair of glasses but couldn't find a suitable one. Then Toriki again hehe.
Next day morning we went supermarketing - to buy all my stuff, checked out, then took a taxi to Hotel Indigo Shibuya. Our room wasn't ready yet, we walked to buy my Kihara cup. Finally I completed my pair of cups. Walked back, checked in, then went for more shopping. The room was not bad, location was good.
I finally bought my Le Labo Lavende because it is the cheapest in Tokyo. Neab bought some AMI, we went to Beams and bought more jackets hehe. I wasn't looking for anything but this one really caught my eye, and when Neab first saw it he was like this is yours. And it was on 50% discount, which is a no-brainer.
Walked to Harajuku to meet Angus, shopped more, Miyoshita Park, dinner at isomaru suisan, drinks at Angus's place. We were Team (Bel) Ami hehe.
Morning we checked out, went to Shibuya Scramble for udon, shopped a bit, went to Mega Donki to buy more stuff, had coffee, then the airport transfer came. Luckily for us, Neab's mum's credit card had free airport transfer and it was so worth it to use it in Tokyo.
Everything was so smooth at the airport, I bought a lot of snacks and also there's a Matsumoto there for last minute buying. The flight was good was well, the food everything, and they serve Hatendo bun for snack wow. I regret not asking for one more heh. Reached home after midnight, showered and slept at around 2am.
It was quite a fun trip, a lot of injuries haha. Also new food places, a lot of shopping, a lot of discussion lol mostly FAQ from Angus. Towards the end we couldn't buy more things because our luggage were too full as usual.

Angus is flying to BKK so he will see Neab in 3 more days.
I will see Neab in a months' time when he comes to Taylor Swift.
We will all go Chong Qing this year lol.
