More plants

That day I went to Marymount to collect my Tefal glass blender and I chanced upon a shelf outside one of the building doors and it says "free plants".

There were a few plants in cut plastic bottles and there was a pandan plant which I always wanted. I took one, then one of the staff came out and told me oh, go ahead and take more.
Then the boss came out and asked me to take the custard apple plant too, because he had too many excess plants so he wanted to give away. He said he invented the planter - he cut the plastic bottle and turned it over to put the soil and water can drain out. I thought it was genius.

I went home with my Tefal blender and 2 new free plants. I'm a plant parent now.

Bangkok 2024 Day 3, 4 & 5

Saturday morning we went to Mickey's Diner for American Fried Rice. It was also really good and big calorie bomb, but it was worth it.
We shopped around Big C and Central world, got my Thai milk tea (everyday) and then went for massage at Premaspa again. The last time I went there it was really good and value for money, so this time I went for the Thai Jingyou massage plus head massage. The masseur really stretched me to my limits lol and she cracked every bone on my back hahaha. I felt so good after that. We went back, showered, checked out the pool, then walked to dinner at Rongsi Pochana.
We are having good food at every meal lol. At first I thought of booking some fine dining restaurant but I thought there was no need since we are eating so good everyday lol. We went back to the hotel to claim our free drink at the rooftop bar.
I was soooo full from the dinner. This is just pre-pre-drinks. Then we headed to the commons for more drinks with Mkong. I haven't met him for soooo many years! Good catchup, and then we hit the club again coz it was also M's current fav club haha.

I had too much to drink and was a bit drunk when we left at 1am hahah but it was way more fun, I got hit on too hehe. M drove us back to our hotel, I puked in the bathroom before showering and slept haha. Long time no club and drunk haha.

Sunday I woke up with a hangover and stomach hurt a bit but we had Sunday Roast with Anthony.
Loved it. We drove around the old city area with Neab as tour guide, ended up at Siam Paragon for some shopping and Thai milk tea, went to Central World, early dinner at Sushiro, dessert at After You, then House of Heals.
It was a good show, music was good. We went back to Neab's place after.

Monday morning, Neab ordered Moo Ping (pork skewers) with sticky rice for breakfast, then we went supermaketing for my stuff, packed, went to another huge mall. Thai milk tea again, then airport.
The SQ flight was surprisingly good, I had grilled chicken with potatoes and watched Wish on the flight. I regret not asking for another main hehe.

All in all, it was a really good trip with all the good food, good company, many drinks. I spent around $900, mainly on food, drinks and shopping and I gained 200kg but it was worth it. Time to gym them off!

Bangkok is fun again!

Bangkok 2024 Day 1 & 2

From last month I knew I needed to redeem my miles because a lot of miles were expiring in the coming month, so I was waiting for the krisflyer spontaneous escape promotion but there was no Bangkok. And suddenly Eric told me he's going to Bangkok on one weekend in April, I also wanted to avoid the touristy SK period so I thought, ok let's go!

I booked Jetstar there and redeemed my miles back because I had the option to check in luggage and I needed dinner on board lol. Thursday evening I ended work early, took the train to airport, reached Bangkok, Neab picked me up for dinner and stayed at his place for the night. Cheese and wine at night as usual.
Friday morning we drove to Emquatier for brunch at Roast, walked around Emsphere - the new mall. Nothing much there except lotsa food, met Eric. We decided to stay in malls the whole day because the weather was too hot.
We checked in at Hotel Indigo then walked detour around malls to Amarin for the LV exhibition. It was actually pretty cool, we know the story of LV, saw their first luggages and trunks, their collabrations, designs throughout the years and ended with a free gift at the end of the exhibition. Very classy.
After that Eric went off, I went to Erawan Shrine as usual, then hang around Central Embassy because we were waiting for early dinner at Som Boon. Som Boon is the bomb. The crab was so cheap and delicious! I love their glass noodles too.
And then we went opposite to check out this really cool sky bar. The drinks were expensive but the view and the vibes were worth it. Surprisingly it was very cooling on top of the building.
We walked back for a quick freshening up and hit the club lol. It was a new club but the music was good and vibes were good! We went back at 1am I think.
