Wadi Rum

Since Neab scratched the car on the first day I took over the car for the rest of the trip. It was a 4 hour drive to Wadi Rum with amazing dessert scenery and carpool karaoke along the way.
We reached there and was waiting for the hotel pick up and there's some stranger trying to push for a tour and they looked really suspicious so we called the hotel and they confirmed that it was authentic lol. We parked in the designated carpark and then took their 4-wheel drive into the desert where the hotel was situated. It was really out of nowhere, like in the middle of the desert. I have no idea how they chose that spot or how they managed to build all those camps there but it was out of this world.
Wadi Rum is super super amazing, we decided it was the highlight of this trip. It is so out of the world, the scenery and landscape, the sand, the mountains, everything. It used to be the seabed million years ago and now the sea dried up but we can still find shells or fish remains. This place has been used to film many movies, like Star Wars, the Martian, Aladdin, transformers etc. We took 400 photos each that day. It was like a fashion campaign.

Our guide was quite funny and flexible and really nice. We were so afraid he was going to just drive off and leave us there lol. And Neab was like if he extorts 1K USD from us we will gladly give him to not let me leave us there. After the tour we checked into our hotel, which was AMAZING too. When I posted on IG everyone was texting me. Just look at this:
Dinner was the best dinner we had. The lamb was so good and fresh, the desserts were good, the rice was good. Argh. Best dinner in Jordan. I miss the rice and the meat.
After dinner, stargazing tour! The moon was too bright, if not we could see the milky way. But the guide had a good telescope and took pics for us using his DSLR.
We were super tired after everything I fell asleep immediately after showering. We woke up, took many pics with the morning sun with Star Wars Props. Breakfast next morning was good as well. At least the coffee was good, and we went to soak at the hot tub in our bubble for pictures and then waited till check out at 12. Our guide came to pick us up, then it's 2 hours drive to Petra.
