It's May

There are so many things I want to rant about. The first half of the year is too fast, it's already third of May, one more month and we are halfway through 2018, and I still write my dates as 2017. How can time past so fast!!!

I felt like I haven't achieved anything except to go on holidays and my 2 snowboarding trips seemed so far away, and I miss Danang now, and I have to plan my next holiday. So far London is in the works in June/July and Piti asked me if I wana join him in Paris so it depends on Andrew's friend and my travel budget.
I also want to go Japan to get all the new Japanese gins, Kamakura shirts, Porter bag, Sagami, Beams and all the sales stuff. Argh I can't decide. I don't have anything to buy from UK (except London Blue Gin) but I haven't been there before. Anyway I gotta book my holiday soon.

Secondly, I'm starting to feel the dread of work everyday. Although I like the benefits of receiving a sum of money every month to spend on my holidays, and I have more holidays than most people, I don't feel satisfied or motivated to go to work. Everyday is just following the timetable, waking up to reach the office at 8.30am and waiting to come home at 5.30pm. I feel kind of stuck here because my manager's not supporting my progression so I can't progress. That's why I need to find a better job. I don't appreciate somebody making my career path for me. If I think I can do it means I can do it, it's not for anyone to say I can't do it.

Thirdly, this year's not been so good for me. Well, it's subjective, but things hasn't gone as smoothly as before, like work, travel, shopping and friends, but everything worked out in the end. The principle of equivalent trade. Like I went to Vietnam to activate the $7 Starhub travel data plan to find out that it doesn't work in Vietnam, and thought I wasted the $7 just like that. Then, I found out that I overused my local data plan in SG and left with 200MB for 4 days, I actually can use the Starhub data plan which has 1GB. So yea everything worked out so I shouldn't complain, but the initial rough patch was the mood killer. Ok things were good in the end so I shouldn't think too much.

Forth, as usual, people. Now I get why people love to travel with me, because I find the best deals and best places to eat, drink and explore. I also do tonnes of research and planning before venturing into unfamiliar places but that's because I want to savour the fruits of my labour. I want to have a good holiday and satisfy my cravings and people just love to follow me haha. After so many IG stories, my friends started to text me on going Japan or hippie places in Danang or BKK. Well if you are good at something, you shouldn't do it for free - just saying.
